We would like to introduce the shape detection function using the standard camera, which is optimal for performing the often encountered "pick and place" tasks in the manufacturing industry. The camera of the Techman Robot not only has a coordinate correction function using landmarks but also allows for shape detection that directly recognizes the shape of the target workpiece, correcting its position and orientation for picking. It can accurately detect subtle differences in the shapes of the target workpieces with a high-precision camera, recognizing the differences in each shape and picking them in the specified order of priority, enabling the arrangement of workpieces in the desired order regardless of their configuration. Therefore, it allows for high-precision picking with automatic correction by the robot itself in situations where positioning is unstable.
