The 89 series is a half-pitch low-profile connector with a follow-type single-point contact concept. It is the smallest low-profile type among half-pitch connectors, equipped with a guide mechanism and capable of SMT compatibility. It has become the de facto standard product for removable applications in laptops. Additionally, the right angle version features a three-row contact tail designed for high-density mounting. Five stack heights are available from 7 to 12 mm, and eight variations of pin counts are offered, ranging from 20 to 120 pins, allowing for a wide range of needs to be met. Of course, three-dimensional connections in horizontal, vertical, and stacked configurations are also possible.

This product is the flexible stack type "8903N-FS series," which has the same shape and dimensions as the "8903 series." Since it is based on the highly regarded "8903 series" in the market, it can be directly mated with connectors that were compatible with the 8903 series (8913-□□□-178S□-□, 8913-□□□-178MS□-A, 8930E-□□□-178MS, 8931E-□□□-178□). Standard stack heights are available in 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30mm, but we can flexibly accommodate heights between 20 and 32mm, so please feel free to contact us.

The standard mounting heights are available in three types: 20, 24, and 30 mm, but custom heights can be specified within the range of 20 to 30 mm.

Both flange and non-flange types are available to meet diverse customer needs. The 100-pole version includes ribs for enhanced strength, achieving a maximum of 200 poles in a half-pitch design.

With lower prices and stable contact performance surpassing card edge connectors, it is truly establishing the two-piece era of plug-in connections. The two-piece connector has a mating contact section that is independent of the printed circuit board, allowing for relaxed conditions such as board thickness, surface treatment, and dimensional accuracy. This series, combined with the advantage of lower connector costs, offers significant total cost benefits. Our company, which was the first to domestically produce the DIN 41612 and ISC 603-2 compliant 8300 Series, has added the inverse type 8400 Series, accommodating the diversification of board construction (horizontal, vertical, stack mounting) through mutual combinations. Now, with a focus on labor-saving concepts, the emergence of cost performance and a rich variety of pin counts is completely renewing the traditional image of DIN connectors and providing new direction for plug-in connections.

This is a card edge connector. KEL's card edge connectors come in a wide range of product lineups to meet customer needs, including contact pitches of "2.54mm," "3.18mm pitch," "3.96mm pitch," and "4.0mm pitch," as well as contact tails in "solder type," "solder dip type," and "wire wrap type."

The 8622E series is a two-piece connector compatible with 0.635mm pitch flat cables (AWG#30). The cable crimping is performed using a unique cable clamping method. This clamping method has gained significant achievements and recognition with our half-pitch connectors, enhancing the reliability of the series. Since it uses two layers of 0.635mm pitch flat cables, it is also possible to connect one 8622E series connector at one end of the cable and two of our half-pitch cable connectors (8925E/8825E series) at the opposite end. The series is designed to ensure an effective mating length of 1.4mm, boasting high contact reliability and a precision design with coplanarity of 0.1mm. By adopting a one-touch eject lock mechanism for the cable-side connector, it has become a user-friendly product that improves work efficiency. *Please note that the "8622□N-□□□" connectors are not sold individually as we provide them as completed harnesses. This series features a half-pitch low-profile connector designed for board-to-cable applications. It uses a flat cable with a pitch of 0.635 mm, allowing for the possibility of a daisy chain. The crimping of the 0.635 mm pitch flat cable is made easy and highly reliable through our unique double-layer spring insertion crimping method, enabling high-quality assembly. While inheriting the features of the 8825E, we have adopted our unique new ejector lock mechanism that allows for easy one-handed insertion and removal, further enhancing operability. Additionally, by implementing a board-to-cable type connector on the board side, board-to-board assembly becomes possible, allowing for combination connections as well.

This series uses a type that employs a single flat cable with a 0.635 mm pitch, allowing for a drag chain. The crimping of the 0.635 mm pitch flat cable can be easily and reliably connected using our unique double-layer plate spring crimping method, enabling high reliability in assembly. We have adopted our unique eject lock mechanism, which allows for easy insertion and removal with one hand, improving operability.

This is a half-pitch board-to-cable type connector. It is a type that combines two 1.27 mm pitch flat cables. One side can be connected to a half-pitch connector, and the other side can be connected to a 2.54 mm pitch MIL standard connector. The 8822 series adopts a "one-touch lock mechanism." The MIL standard F/C connector has a lock on the board side, which required both hands to release. The 8822E series allows for one-handed attachment and detachment by placing the lock on the cable side, improving operability.

This series is compatible with 54-pin FLGA sockets and employs a unique contact wiping structure for all pins, ensuring high contact reliability and stability. Additionally, it features a push-lock cover that allows for secure locking and contact of the package. Furthermore, a dedicated insertion and extraction tool is provided for the cover's locking mechanism, making it easy to insert and remove.

This is a connector for battery packs of small devices such as laptops and handheld terminals. An IC is implemented in the battery pack, and it is used for connecting weak currents when exchanging signals between the main unit and the battery pack. The GC and GD series, while compact, ensure sufficient stroke displacement and absorb any play during battery pack installation. Additionally, the springs in this series have a wiping effect, helping to remove dirt and other contaminants from the contact surfaces.

With the trend towards thinner and more portable laptops, the batteries used in them are also required to be thinner and lighter. The form of these batteries is transitioning from lithium-ion batteries to lithium polymer batteries, which offer greater freedom of shape and higher power capacity per unit area. The GF series achieves a significant reduction in height, with a mounting height of 3.4mm (on the laptop side) and 2.6mm (on the battery pack side), compared to conventional products. Naturally, the adoption of lithium polymer batteries also requires connectors to be thinner than before, making this series an optimal choice. Additionally, it features a high reliability with a mating stroke of 1.6mm.
