By enclosing the board-side connector with a metal shell, measures against noise, improvement of product strength, and reinforcement of the ground have been achieved. This series realizes a 0.4mm pitch and maintains a mounting height of 1.0mm. Compared to KEL's already available 0.5mm pitch connectors for ultra-fine coaxial cables, the volume during connector mating has been reduced by approximately 50%, achieving significant miniaturization and contributing to the trend of lighter and more compact devices. The board-side connector is of the right-angle type, while the cable-side connector is of the straight type, with pin counts available in 20, 30, and 40 pins.
