In the transportation of flooring materials for an elevator manufacturer, a costly and large-scale chain mechanism was used to construct the drive unit. They had been exploring other transportation methods for some time, but due to the heavy weight and the backlash effects from gears and other mechanisms, there were issues with positional misalignment during stops, which led to problems such as impacts on subsequent processes and damage to the flooring materials, causing them to refrain from adoption.
