We would like to introduce thin-walled processing with a minimum thickness of 0.03mm. The inquiries we receive regarding thin-walled processing mainly fall into two categories: "prototype processing projects" and "mass production prototype projects." Our company can handle samples with a minimum thickness of 0.03mm. However, in reality, a thickness of 0.03mm poses strength issues, so we believe that most projects are around 0.2mm thick at a minimum. This product is a collar used in general industrial equipment. The material is aluminum A7075, and the size is φ25×35L. It was manufactured using cutting processing. Generally, when producing simple-shaped collars in large quantities, molds such as cold forging are used. Therefore, if mass production is involved, costs can be reduced, but there is an initial cost for the molds. However, for medium lot products (100 to 1000 pieces per lot), using molds incurs initial costs, leading to higher total costs. Thus, for medium lot production, manufacturing through cutting processing can reduce costs, and for this product, we achieved a 20% reduction in costs through our cost-down proposal. This product is a shim component used in the assembly process of hydraulic generators. The material is SPCC (cold-rolled steel sheet), and the size is 2×40×50. Shims are used during assembly to change the fitting of parts when precision is not achieved. There are various materials and shapes available, and it is necessary to select them considering workability and usage environment. The shim processed this time was requested by the customer to prioritize sliding properties, and we proposed a solid lubrication treatment (Paryube treatment) with good wear resistance.
