We have added two new functions to the highly regarded 7461A as a DMM, which are useful for system applications. One is a temperature measurement function with a resolution of 0.001℃ using a platinum resistance thermometer, applicable in various fields such as automotive, home appliances, air conditioning, energy management, medical, and industrial equipment. The other is a digital output that allows for arbitrary control of external devices via remote command. This includes contact signals and TTL signals, making it very convenient for opening and closing mechanical shutters and solenoid valves, thus eliminating the need for separate models like scanners. Additionally, by increasing the measurement data memory from 10,000 to 20,000 data points, the data collection capability has also doubled.
