Freeze-drying is a method that involves freezing the moisture in raw materials at temperatures below the freezing point and then removing the moisture through sublimation while maintaining that state. The temperature inside the dryer is lowered below the freezing point to freeze the raw materials. After the freezing process is complete, the raw materials are heated from a negative temperature through a shelf in a vacuum state, causing the moisture to evaporate through sublimation. The evaporated moisture is cooled in a cold trap and collected in the form of ice.
