Introduction of casters that can be used as guide wheels for stretchers.

Blickle heavy-duty polyurethane wheels made with polyurethane tread and cast iron wheel center.

A German company that provides equipment for wire drawing machines and the wire and cable industry primarily uses special wheels from other manufacturers, and the company's requirements were to match the material and dimensions precisely. A feature of these wheels is that they incorporate V-nuts into the tread, which allows for the use of guide wheels for wire drawing machines. In addition to the material and dimensions of the wheels, it was important to have high wear resistance since wires and cables are continuously pulled across the tread. After a long testing phase in line with the technical points of this company, we recommended heavy-duty wheels using cast iron wheel centers and Blickle Besthane treads. These wheels have the same dimensions, confirmed equivalence to the previously used products, and are offered at a lower price. We received high satisfaction from this company, and by using Blickle Besthane treads and cast iron wheel centers, we ensured high wear resistance and significantly reduced wheel procurement costs. *You can download the catalog. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of casters with excellent floor protection for transport carts used with rescue helicopters.

Arrives quickly and safely in emergencies! Blickle heavy-duty dual-wheel caster with pneumatic tires made of welded steel plate.

An engineering company specializing in custom services and solutions for shipbuilding manufactures transport carts for rescue helicopters, which are brought to the airfield by trailer. The transport route uses a very delicate tar mac material, and the initially installed casters from another company exerted very high pressure on the floor surface, causing damage to the pavement. This company sought a solution that exerts low pressure on the floor and excels in floor protection, requiring specially reinforced heavy-duty brackets due to the need for high-speed movement and high dynamic loads in emergencies. As a result, a special dual-wheel caster was developed using the heavy-duty wheels from the "PS series" among standard products. All existing casters were replaced with Blickle's heavy-duty wheels and special casters from the "LSD/BSD-PS series," avoiding high costs for airfield repairs, and the reinforced dual-wheel casters also accommodate high-speed movement. *You can download the catalog. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

A caster that reduces noise and rolling resistance for automotive manufacturer assembly plants.

Introducing casters equipped with Blickle SoftMotion! Significantly reduces noise and turning resistance.

A Czech automobile and engine manufacturer has high noise levels in their assembly factory. To transport car parts within the factory, trolleys continuously move along the concrete floor in an orderly manner. The floor of the hall itself is smooth, but expansion joints made of cast iron grids are installed at regular intervals. The trolleys are equipped with wheels that leave no marks on the gray elastic solid rubber floor, and the rubber tread is relatively hard, resulting in higher rolling resistance and turning resistance, which means the maneuverability is not particularly good. As a standard solution, Blickle's "ALES series" wheels provide an excellent solution for this trolley due to their superior vibration-damping properties and significant reduction in noise levels thanks to the soft rubber tread. The "LH-ALES series" casters demonstrated excellent vibration damping and a substantial reduction in rolling and turning resistance during regular operational tests, significantly improving manual maneuverability. *You can download the catalog. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of brick recasters to machinery manufacturing companies such as automotive and aerospace.

We will reliably transport heavy cargo! Here are some case studies on the introduction of Blickle casters, known for their excellent durability!

A company located in southern Sweden manufactures electric transport vehicles capable of transporting super-heavy cargo up to 500 tons, some of which can also be used as unmanned transport vehicles. They developed custom wheels for the steering of the vehicles, using one to four wheels as drive wheels depending on the type of transport cart. In recent years, this company had been using wheels that did not meet quality requirements. The wheel manufacturing process was divided into two stages, sourcing the wheel centers and treads from different suppliers. Complaints arose due to quality issues, leading to increased service and replacement costs, and they were seeking high-quality finished drive wheels with a load capacity of 6 tons. As a solution, they implemented the "GB series" wheels using Blickle's polyurethane tread, Blickle Besthane, and a robust custom-designed cast iron wheel center, achieving drive wheels that are durable and have low rolling resistance. With improved efficiency, they were able to use the electric transport vehicles for a longer period. *You can download the catalog. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of casters for the manufacturing of turbine towers and wind power generation components.

Developed a roller with a load capacity of 100 tons! A case that achieved improved load-bearing capacity and safety.

We would like to introduce a case where a heavy-duty drive roller using Blickle Extrathane polyurethane tread, model 'STHN 620×1000/180-1000-937434', was implemented by a company providing solutions for the wind power industry. Until now, due to high load-bearing requirements, steel wheels were used for the turning rolls. However, because of their high rigidity, vibrations occurred when rotating the tower with the turning rolls, adversely affecting the weld joints, leading to poor surface quality of the cylindrical curved surface and insufficient roundness. In response, engineers from Blickle closely collaborated with the company to develop a roller with a load capacity of 100 tons. As a result, the installation process was significantly simplified, and by distributing the load, it became possible to reduce the wheel axle diameter, leading to substantial cost savings. [Challenges] - The surface quality of the cylindrical curved surface had deteriorated, resulting in insufficient roundness. - To meet load-bearing requirements, it was necessary to equip four wheels adjacent to each other. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of heavy-duty casters for the semiconductor technology industry by Blickle.

The cart comes with a foot guard and springs for added safety! An example of achieving very high safety and ergonomics. Cleanroom specification casters.

We would like to introduce a case where the Blickle heavy-duty spring-loaded swivel caster 'LSDFE-POTH 200XK-ELS-FS-899642' was implemented in a manufacturer developing and producing equipment for microchip manufacturing. Since it was to be used in a cleanroom environment, it was necessary to meet special standards such as special surface treatment, static electricity prevention, low wear, low maintenance, and ease of cleaning. Additionally, due to limited space, high maneuverability was required. To address this, the entire bracket was nickel-plated, and the surface was finished smoothly. The polyurethane spring was also treated with a special process to prevent outgassing. As a result, we achieved very high safety and ergonomics, ultimately leading to cost reductions. Introduction of casters that are resistant to high-temperature cleaning and low-temperature operations for food manufacturers.

Wheels made with polyurethane treads! They can withstand use under harsh conditions. Utilizing Blickle's unique hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane.

A food manufacturer based in the United States was considering replacing their polyurethane wheels that used cast iron wheel centers. The wheels required high durability for running on concrete floors and being washed several times a day, as well as impact resistance for regularly raising and lowering the gondola to unload its contents. The company discussed proposals from multiple firms and adopted Blickle's solution. They used the hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane tread "Blickle Besthane" along with high-quality nylon wheel centers, and added stainless steel ball bearings. As a result, the wheels became resistant to both high-temperature washing and low-temperature operations during food processing. Consequently, after testing them mounted on the gondola, the company received high satisfaction, and the use of corrosion-resistant wheels improved durability and resistance to high temperatures and soap, leading to significant reductions in replacement costs. Furthermore, the pursuit of ease of use has contributed to improved comfort and ergonomics in the workplace. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Case study of introducing casters with excellent heat resistance and pressure resistance using lubricating oil.

Smooth operation even under high temperatures and chemical loads! It performs well even at high temperatures. Blickle stainless steel mounting bracket caster.

The company providing solutions for "mobile living" has established a new process for handling parts on a cart within a vacuum plasma device. They wanted to continue using the existing cart with a wheel diameter of 125 millimeters, but they also wanted to avoid any issues with delicate processing caused by "external" factors such as the chemical reactions of the lubricants used in the existing casters. Initially, Blickle's experts recommended heat-resistant stainless steel casters that do not require lubrication, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 100°C for processing within the plasma device. However, this company wanted to improve mobility by using perfluoropolyether lubricant. This special lubricant has excellent properties for vacuum coating due to its heat resistance, pressure resistance, chemical resistance, and compatibility with oxygen. In tests under extreme conditions, the casters demonstrated outstanding performance with special grease applied to the swivel parts and ball bearings. Therefore, it is possible to use the casters without changing the product process. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Introduction of temperature-controlled casters specialized for biotechnology companies.

Reliable and usable even at extremely low temperatures! We have developed the ideal solution! Blickle casters with stainless steel mounting brackets.

A biotechnology company in Scandinavia manufactures natural additives, but due to the delicate nature of their products, they are produced in a strictly controlled environment. This company has faced wheel issues multiple times in the past. Brittle and easily breakable tires, along with hard and corroded rotating fittings, rendered the carts nearly or completely unusable, making them difficult for operators to handle, reducing work efficiency, and incurring maintenance costs. As a solution, we analyzed the specific requests from the field and developed an ideal solution based on the Blickle LIX-POTH caster wheel series. As a special feature, a special cold-resistant grease suitable for roller bearings at temperatures down to -70°C is applied to the deep groove ball bearings of the wheels and the swivel parts of the mounting fittings. This solution has been validated, and the company successfully tested the new wheels, leading to their permanent adoption. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of casters usable on railway tracks for major fire truck manufacturers.

Demonstrating flexibility and safety on both rails and roads! Safety and reliability are essential.

A major Swiss fire truck manufacturer has been purchasing completed wheel assemblies for trolleys with casters until now. Due to end-user demands for more flexibility and additional features, the manufacturer decided to independently develop the wheel assemblies for existing equipment trolleys. The basic wheel assembly uses two swivel casters from the "L-ALTH series" and two fixed casters with deadman brakes from the "B-GTH series." The casters are equipped with polyurethane treads called "Blickle Extrathane." After detailed discussions with this company, Blickle's engineers additionally designed flanged wheels to enable safe use on railway tracks. Thorough testing of the prototypes was conducted, proving that Blickle's design was sufficient, and the company received high satisfaction for the new wheel assembly, which is expected to demonstrate strengths in this market. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Introduction of low rolling resistance swivel casters for electric lifts used in high-altitude work.

Improve ride comfort with Blickle's solutions! Significant energy savings and extended battery life achieved.

The manufacturer of electric lifts for high-altitude work was using drive wheels and swivel casters from other companies for their mobile electric lifts for high-altitude work. As a solution from Blickle, the drive wheels (GSTN) made with the polyurethane elastomer tread "Blickle Softhane" were well-suited for this application. The features of this tread included comfort in operation and high grip, but at the request, wheels were used that had a gray tread that does not leave marks on the floor and a black painted finish on the wheel center for this lift. The GTH wheels, which have low rolling resistance, were designed with a smaller offset value to be incorporated into existing machine designs, and a location was provided for a directional restriction lock system that can be operated remotely by the operator. By using these wheels, it was demonstrated that the solution meets the aesthetic requirements of the company and is compatible with existing machine designs. Improvements in rolling resistance have led to significant energy savings and extended battery life. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Case study on the introduction of directional restriction lock casters for small package delivery carts.

To American mail order companies! Using Blickle's special casters for postal logistics, we ensure smooth international shipping.

An online retail company in the United States that deals with various products is currently making significant investments to expand its logistics and transportation business, aiming to reduce the outsourcing of its logistics management processes. They requested bids from manufacturers for casters to be used on carts for parcels. Each cart required two types of casters. Blickle proposed a solution. In addition to finding the appropriate technical solution, they were looking for a supplier that could quickly provide a large quantity of products and had experience in postal logistics. Blickle's design department developed a special specification "L-ALTH swivel caster" according to the customer's request. The "L-ALTH wheel" used for the casters features a tread shape designed to optimize rolling resistance, with more convex sections than standard wheels. As a result, Blickle's engineers also designed a special directional locking mechanism operated by a cable pull. As part of the initial order, they manufactured and delivered 40,000 units of the special specification "L-ALTH caster" as scheduled. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Introduction of high-safety casters suitable for rail operation to state-owned railway companies.

Maintain contact with the ground even under difficult conditions! Easily movable with three-wheel casters! The rolling and starting resistance of Blickle wheels is demonstrated.

The state-owned railway company based in Bern, the capital of Switzerland, wanted to continue using efficient casters based on Blickle's RD series. However, the wheel width was narrow, and there were instances where the wheels would drop off the rails when crossing them. Therefore, after discussing the issues and width, and visiting the site to understand the situation, we collaborated with the company to design an appropriate solution and manufactured a bolt-mounted three-wheel caster with a longer wheel axle. The company requested the use of a polyurethane tread "Blickle Softhane" with a heavy-duty specification for the middle wheel, which has low rolling resistance. For the outer two wheels of this wheel (ALST series), we used the Blickle Softhane wheels (RD series) with a two-layer solid rubber tire that has been widely used by SBB and has undergone sufficient trials. This eliminated the difficulties and dangers of crossing the rails, resulting in a cost-effective three-wheel caster. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
