A chemical plant planning a large-scale ERP investment consulted us about IT strategy formulation. We proposed consulting to analyze what issues exist for improving profitability and how IT can solve these problems before developing the IT strategy. We toured the entire plant to familiarize ourselves with the layout of tanks and material storage areas, and then used data to understand inventory levels by item and location based on inbound and outbound logistics and inventory duration. As a result, we identified issues with how demand (orders) were captured and how production lots were determined. We aggregated and visualized the flow of materials from raw materials to intermediates and finished products across multiple plants, set KPIs to reduce inventory (duration), and organized the business flow and data from order receipt, procurement, production, to shipping. We designed a supply chain system and structured the positioning of the ERP within a total system. [Effect] ■ Successfully implemented ERP effectively, contributing to the improvement of profitability. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe electronic components manufacturer, which has an extremely wide range of items such as semiconductors and PCBs, has over 100 processes, with complexities including returns to upstream processes and repetitions. Due to the inability of traditional cost management and inventory management theories to secure profits effectively, there were inquiries about how to resolve these issues by reading our publications. The first step taken was to wear work clothes and observe the flow of materials, equipment, and personnel according to the work instructions over the course of a week. The root cause was found in the management system that aimed to increase output and reduce costs for each process. The solution was to shift the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) from cost to time (inventory holding). [Case Study] ■ Solution - Shifted KPI (Key Performance Indicator) from cost to time (inventory holding) ■ Effect - Customer satisfaction shifted from low prices to prompt delivery, improving from a deficit structure to a high-profit structure. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe received a consulting request from a major domestic beverage and food manufacturer in China. The management challenges in the beverage and food industry are characterized by significant demand fluctuations, with excess inventory and stockouts being persistent themes. Excess inventory must be discarded once it passes its expiration date, while insufficient inventory leads to lost sales opportunities, impacting overall performance. Therefore, we analyzed the profit structures and inventory fluctuations of each segment, from factories to logistics warehouses, wholesalers, and retailers, assuming that each operates as a profit center, and identified the challenges. We proposed changing the management system, implementing mixed-load deliveries with small lots and high frequency for each SKU, and adjusting factory production cycles from monthly to shorter cycles of half-month or weekly. We gained their agreement through an Excel simulation demonstrating how much inventory could be reduced and stockouts eliminated. **Effects** - By revising promotions that cause sudden spikes and drops in demand, we achieved demand leveling and production and shipping leveling, resulting in the successful market expansion of new products through fresh rotation initiatives. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationThe drive motor that rotates the feed and discharge rollers of the printing machine experiences fluctuating friction due to repeated stop-start cycles. This causes the entire printing machine to vibrate, resulting in noise and unnecessary electricity costs. To suppress the complex vibrations caused by the rotational resistance transmitted throughout the rotating machinery, we would like to introduce our patented technology for counteracting rotational resistance and preventing shaft vibration. Mechanisms such as dynamic dampers that avoid resonance are also utilized, which are effective against large vibrations, but by suppressing high-frequency vibrations, we can also reduce noise and save energy by addressing the invisible micro-level fine vibrations. 【Features】 ■ Suppresses complex vibrations caused by rotational resistance transmitted throughout the rotating machinery ■ Uses mechanisms such as dynamic dampers to avoid resonance ■ Reduces noise and saves energy by suppressing high-frequency vibrations, including invisible micro-level fine vibrations ■ Fundamental remedy *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationElectricity is, needless to say, an important resource in modern society. Unnecessary complex vibrations caused by random rotational resistance in size and direction are a source of energy loss in motor drive systems. To suppress the complex vibrations caused by rotational resistance transmitted throughout the rotating machinery, we would like to introduce our patented technology for counteracting rotational resistance and preventing shaft vibration. The reactive forces from the driving force and the object are received from various directions: radial, circumferential, and axial, affecting different parts. This technology addresses the complex vibration issues of radial eccentric vibrations, circumferential torsional vibrations, and axial expansion and contraction vibrations. [Features] - Suppresses complex vibrations caused by rotational resistance transmitted throughout the rotating machinery - Solves complex vibration issues of radial eccentric vibrations, circumferential torsional vibrations, and axial expansion and contraction vibrations - Fundamental remedy *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe driving force and the reaction received from the object affect various parts from different directions, including radial, circumferential, and axial directions. What we would like to propose as a means to solve all these vibration issues is our patented technology for preventing rotational axis wobble through rotational resistance compensation. With the dynamic damper of the heart column, we aim to avoid resonance and ensure the safety of structures. Additionally, feedback control corrects the generated vibrations through balancers and numerical control, which are instantaneous phenomena at the microsecond level that are not visible; however, these are symptomatic treatments. In terms of suppressing the source of occurrence, it can be considered a fundamental treatment rather than a symptomatic one. 【Features】 ■ Solves the root causes of various issues, such as noise and component wear ■ Fundamental treatment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAdvanced technology for improving the positioning accuracy of blades through numerical control (NC) with sensors and controllers is a specialty of Japan, aimed at enhancing the precision of machining. However, there is a time delay in the servo motor drive that positions the blade based on sensor measurements, and typically, an offset correction process is required after machining. As a solution to this issue, we would like to propose our patented technology for preventing rotational axis wobble by counteracting rotational resistance. This approach addresses the root cause of the generated wobble rather than merely providing feedback to correct it, making it a fundamental solution rather than a symptomatic one. Of course, the effectiveness is greatly enhanced when used in conjunction with NC technology. 【Features】 ■ Fundamental solution ■ Effectiveness is doubled when used in conjunction with NC technology *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAxial runout, or rotational axis vibration, can be described as a complex vibration caused by centrifugal force resulting in radial vibrations, torsional vibrations due to rotational friction, axial compressive vibrations, and deflection vibrations. This is because the rolling resistance acting on the tire is a "random phenomenon where both the magnitude and direction of the force change constantly." By using our patented technology to prevent axial runout, depending on the driving conditions that affect the differences in rolling resistance, it should be possible to offset the tire's rolling resistance and save a significant portion of these fuel economy losses. 【Features】 ■ Offsets tire rolling resistance ■ Saves a significant portion of fuel economy losses *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThere are several methods to achieve energy efficiency, but energy conservation in rotating machinery, which consumes a large amount of energy, is an urgent issue. It is impossible to completely suppress rotational axis vibration during idling or under load. The only way to completely eliminate vibration is to stop the machine. By utilizing our patented technology for preventing rotational axis vibration, we can suppress the vibrations caused by reactive forces from rotational friction, thereby preventing energy loss. This technology can reduce rotational drive energy loss in a wide range of industrial machinery, including electric motors, automobiles, and factory production lines. 【Features】 ■ Suppresses vibrations caused by reactive forces from rotational friction ■ Capable of reducing rotational drive energy loss *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationVibration refers to the situation where a mass-bearing object is in a state of oscillatory motion. There are two methods to avoid vibration problems. One is to weaken the vibration itself. The other is a technique that uses materials or structures that are less likely to transmit vibration, such as soundproof walls. Our company's patented technology for preventing rotational axis wobble is a technique that "mitigates rotational resistance friction" using a separate object called an "inertia ball" from the vibrating rotating body. In simple terms, this technology reduces vibration by having the "inertia ball" suppress the "force that causes movement," which is the source of vibration, as a "force that keeps it in place." [Features] ■ There are two methods to avoid vibration problems. ■ The patented technology for preventing rotational axis wobble reduces vibration by having the "inertia ball" suppress the "force that causes movement" as a "force that keeps it in place." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationRotational axis vibration causes unnecessary three-dimensional vibrations, not only from radial centrifugal force vibrations but also from torsional vibrations due to rotational friction and axial elongation vibrations. It generates vibration energy throughout the mechanical system, including not just the balancer that cancels out centrifugal force vibrations, but also vibrations from rolling resistance. This leads to energy loss, positioning accuracy issues, noise, and safety concerns in the automotive drive system, motor spindles, power transmission gears, pulleys, and other areas, which are eternal challenges in modern industry. This document explains the motion of rotational axis vibration using the mechanics of sports and martial arts through Newtonian mechanics, and elucidates the principles behind the patented technology for reducing axis wobble. [Contents of the explanatory document] ■ The issues of rotational axis vibration are diverse. ■ Reducing rotational resistance may not show effects during idle operation, but it demonstrates its capabilities during actual operation. ■ Principles and patents. ■ Practical vibration testing on a drill press. ■ Experiments on grinding wheel rotational axis vibration and machining accuracy, comparing resistance cancellation and balancers. ■ Mechanical theory (system dynamics), etc. *The explanatory document is currently being distributed. Free membership registrationFrom my bestselling book "Supply Chain Management," I present a collection of case studies on consulting in four industries. Inventory reduction leads to opportunity loss, and preventing opportunity loss results in excess inventory. According to the traditional management science of "probability and statistics," inventory reduction and opportunity loss prevention cannot coexist. "What is inventory?" Improvements aimed at cost reduction and efficiency often lead to increased inventory, limiting profitability improvements for the overall optimization. By focusing not only on cost reduction through efficiency improvements but also on inventory, we view excess inventory and stockouts as the same problem in a holistic manner. Consulting case studies in four industries: [Contents] ■ Production innovation in the automotive parts industry ■ Market expansion strategies in the beverage and food industry ■ Profitability improvement in the electronic components industry ■ System design prior to ERP implementation in the chemical manufacturing industry *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Free membership registrationThe Mitsubishi Motors fuel economy test falsification issue was an experiment on fuel economy loss due to rolling resistance (rotational resistance). It is said that energy loss from rolling resistance vibrations is between 20% and 30%. A balancer that adjusts the eccentricity (imbalance) between the rotation center and the center of gravity cancels out the centrifugal force from the eccentricity, but it has no effect on rotational resistance. The primary rotational resistance causes vibrations in the circumferential direction. In a demonstration experiment with a grinding wheel, torsional vibrations in the circumferential direction were reduced by 98%. Additionally, in a demonstration experiment with a drill press, a sensitivity of about 20% was obtained in the correlation between the magnitude of vibrations caused by rotational resistance and the power consumption. Phenomena that cannot be explained by conventional mechanical vibration theory have been theorized through mechanical considerations and experiments, leading to patent acquisition. = Currently seeking patent licensees and partners for prototype development and joint development! = 【Features】 ■ Simple structure that does not require sensors or control devices ■ Utilization of natural inertial forces that resist movement ■ Cancellation of the centrifugal force from eccentricity and rotational resistance ■ Complementing a balancer that suppresses only the centrifugal force from eccentricity ■ Cancellation of rotational resistance (rolling resistance) and suppression of torsional vibrations

Introducing the technology to counteract rotational resistance! The issue of rotational drive vibration is an eternal challenge in modern industry, causing energy loss, positioning accuracy problems, noise, and safety concerns in automotive drive systems, electric motor shafts, power transmission gears, and pulleys. This seminar explains the motion of rotational axis vibration using the mechanics of sports and martial arts through Newtonian mechanics, clarifying the principles behind the patented technology that reduces axis wobble. Features: While discussions in the frequency domain can often turn the mechanical behavior of vibrations into a black box, this seminar deepens understanding through thought experiments based on Newtonian mechanics learned in high school physics. By understanding the principles, opportunities for joint development, including patent licensing, can be obtained for application in manufacturing companies' equipment and products, aiming for reduced power costs, improved product machining accuracy, and noise prevention. *Explanation booklets are currently being distributed. Free membership registrationImproving the current products is important, but new technologies that differ from existing ones may emerge and, despite initially seeming inferior, could eventually disrupt the existing market. One classic example is the innovation that occurred across generations, from sailing ships to steamships, from steam engines to internal combustion engines, and from internal combustion engines to electric motors. This is not just about brainstorming ideas or theories of innovation; it is about systematizing innovation through historical examples as done by Christensen, Drucker, and Schumpeter. Let’s learn about "product development innovation management" that achieves results from the innovation mindset of Japanese people, who have won many Nobel Prizes in natural sciences, and have made Japanese trains and automobiles the best in the world, derived from Western origins! * A commentary handbook is currently being offered.
