GARAMITE-7305 is a rheology additive that exhibits superior properties compared to conventional organic affinity phyllosilicates (organic clays). Conventional phyllosilicates require high shear forces and polar activators (surfactants) to promote dispersion during formulation. In contrast, GARAMITE-7305 can be easily dispersed and activated with moderate shear forces in solvents and binders. [CERAFLOUR 960] and [CERAFLOUR 964] are effective in improving degassing properties in primid-based powder coatings. In particular, [CERAFLOUR 964] enhances degassing without adversely affecting gloss (non-bl blooming). This additive is highly suitable for high-gloss powder coatings and is especially ideal for dark-colored applications where visible surface defects are likely to occur.
