"BYK-1693 SD" is a highly effective and compatible powdered defoamer for hybrid systems that combine mineral-based dry mix mortars with water-based or powder dispersions. The special combination of active ingredients in the additive provides powerful and lasting defoaming properties across the entire range of applications. By reducing the air bubble content, it improves the characteristics of fresh mortar and the physical properties of the cured system. BYK-1693 SD is particularly suitable for two-component waterproof membranes.

"BYK-3558" is a surface additive for high solid and medium solid paints based on silicone and polyether modified acrylate copolymers. GARAMITE-7305 is a rheology additive that exhibits superior properties compared to conventional organic affinity phyllosilicates (organic clays). Conventional phyllosilicates require high shear forces and polar activators (surfactants) to promote dispersion during formulation. In contrast, GARAMITE-7305 can be easily dispersed and activated with moderate shear forces in solvents and binders. By using GARAMITE-7305, it becomes possible to achieve high viscosity formulations in low shear areas, resulting in excellent sedimentation prevention effects and anti-syneresis properties. When using BYK-8020 compared to soap-based foam stabilizers, the surface achieves a dry (drier) texture, and moisture absorption into the gelled plastisol is reduced.
