【High Aspect Ratio Plate-like Clay EVA Masterbatch BYK-MAX FR4145】 BYK-MAX FR 4145 is a dust-free organic phyllosilicate formulation pre-dispersed in an ethylene-vinyl acetate carrier, making it easy and safe to handle. This product is particularly suitable for halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic compounds, and its addition improves flame retardancy, especially enhancing dripping behavior and crust formation, serving as a flame retardant additive masterbatch. These features provide significant advantages in applications subject to stringent fire safety regulations, such as cable coatings. BYK-MAX FR 4145 exhibits synergistic effects when used in conjunction with flame retardants, allowing for a reduction in the amount of flame retardant added. Flame retardancy is maintained while improving processability and mechanical properties.

Features BYK-397 is a low-polarity additive that provides a perfectly balanced general-purpose type, imparting excellent orientation to the paint surface. This has two effects: one is superior leveling properties, and the second is that it also has defoaming capabilities. This effect is achieved even with a small amount of addition. The surface tension of the paint is only slightly reduced, while recoatability and internal adhesion are maintained. Furthermore, BYK-397 can be used in both colored and clear coatings without causing cloudiness or haziness. It can also be used in high-gloss paints. BYK-397 is suitable for both thin and thick film types. It has excellent thermal stability and does not cause yellowing at high bake temperatures.

Features: BYKUMEN N is a wetting dispersant for solvent-based paints and primers. It prevents the settling of fillers and inorganic pigments and improves the floatability of pigments. Notes: This additive has an appearance ranging from light yellow to dark brown, but it does not affect its effectiveness. BYKUMEN N is a low cumene version of BYKUMEN.

Features: BYK-1765 is an excellent solvent-free, silicone-free acrylic defoamer designed for high solid content and solvent-free systems, particularly suitable for epoxy systems. This additive is highly effective against macrofoam and microfoam while maintaining good compatibility with the system. In thick film applications, foaming and defoaming pose significant challenges, but BYK-1765 is very effective in solving these problems. The use of this additive does not adversely affect recoatability or intercoat adhesion. Furthermore, it positively influences leveling properties. Additionally, effective defoaming can enhance functionalities such as corrosion resistance in anti-corrosive applications.

Features SCONA TPPET 4214 PA is a high-performance polymer modifier based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) functionalized with glycidyl methacrylate. This additive, which has reactive epoxy groups, functions as a viscosity promoter for polycondensation polymers by increasing the molecular weight and enhancing the viscosity when added to the base polymer. In this way, excellent processability is achieved during extrusion and thermoforming. Since this additive is PET-based, it is particularly suitable for use in PET-based compounds.

In the membrane, the flat layered silicate aligns, which increases the gas flow path and suppresses permeability. Unlike types that are refined and classified from natural clay, LAPONITE is synthesized from inorganic chemicals, resulting in high purity, making it suitable for use in medical and cosmetic applications. There is a demand for improved barrier properties in materials for applications such as the conversion from glass to film in solar cells, as well as for hydrogen storage and transportation. LAPONITE is known as a rheology control agent and is used not only to thicken various coating liquids but also to create hydrogels. Unlike organic materials, it is an inorganic particle with a hectorite structure similar to clay, which also reduces the environmental impact during the disposal of liquids and films.
