Features: BYK-1765 is an excellent solvent-free, silicone-free acrylic defoamer designed for high solid content and solvent-free systems, particularly suitable for epoxy systems. This additive is highly effective against macrofoam and microfoam while maintaining good compatibility with the system. In thick film applications, foaming and defoaming pose significant challenges, but BYK-1765 is very effective in solving these problems. The use of this additive does not adversely affect recoatability or intercoat adhesion. Furthermore, it positively influences leveling properties. Features SCONA TPPET 4214 PA is a high-performance polymer modifier based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) functionalized with glycidyl methacrylate. This additive, which has reactive epoxy groups, functions as a viscosity promoter for polycondensation polymers by increasing the molecular weight and enhancing the viscosity when added to the base polymer. In this way, excellent processability is achieved during extrusion and thermoforming. Since this additive is PET-based, it is particularly suitable for use in PET-based compounds.
