In recent years, the spread of smartphones and the miniaturization of electronic devices have progressed, and in parallel with this situation, the demand for electronic components has shifted from the traditionally used sizes of 1608 and 1005 to the smaller sizes of 0603 and 0402. Furthermore, since 2018, major manufacturers of ceramic capacitors and chip resistors have been changing their production lines for 1608 and 1005 size components to focus mainly on 0603 size, leading to ongoing concerns about the supply of larger components in the future. Our company handles a lot of contract design and manufacturing for industrial equipment, and we do not have many constraints regarding board size or mounting area. However, we anticipate that the "miniaturization of electronic components" will continue to advance, and we are capable of implementing 0603 size components. It is possible to adjust battery overcharging and over-discharging, preventing performance degradation of the battery. Various functions can also be added, such as preventing heat generation through temperature management and calculating battery remaining capacity to equalize cell voltage. - State of Charge (SOC) Estimation: Compare the estimated voltage with the actual measured voltage to estimate SOC. - State of Health (SOH) Diagnosis: Diagnose the capacity at the time of degradation against the initial battery capacity. - Voltage Measurement: Measure the voltage of each battery cell and the entire battery pack to prevent overcharging and over-discharging. - Current Measurement: Measure the discharge current from the battery and the charging current to the battery. - Temperature Measurement: Continuously monitor the battery temperature through temperature sensors. - Cell Balancing: Control the charge and discharge of each cell according to the measured voltage values to suppress variations between battery cells. *Under development.
