Free membership registrationHere is a case study of a delivery made to the headquarters of a construction company in Mitaka City, Tokyo. It was introduced as a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measure for the headquarters office. During a power outage, the "S-5500" is connected to the distribution board to supply power to the 1st and 2nd floors. 【Case Summary】 ■ Delivery Location: Headquarters of a construction company in Mitaka City, Tokyo ■ Model Number: S-5500 ■ Purpose: BCP measures for the headquarters office The "ELSONA generator" was developed from the experiences of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." In disaster-stricken areas, gasoline stations themselves may be affected, and there are purchase limits of up to 10 liters per person, making it difficult to obtain "gasoline." In contrast, "LP gas," which is used in daily life, is a decentralized energy source, stored in easily transportable cylinders, and has many advantages, including resilience to disasters. During the support for the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake" in Reiwa Year 6, the ability to generate power using not only "gasoline" but also "LP gas" was greatly appreciated by the affected residents. We encourage you to consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support. Our Elsona series generators were developed in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. Since then, we have experienced significant power outages due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that struck on January 1, 2024, as well as prolonged power outages caused by typhoons in Okinawa during the summer of 2023. In response to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, we collaborated with local municipalities in the affected areas to donate 14 GD1600 generators to Suzu City and Noto Town. In light of these circumstances, we have received numerous inquiries and orders for the compact and lightweight GD1600 series generators. Therefore, starting March 11, 2024, we will significantly revise the prices of the GD1600 series to make them even more affordable. We are committed to continuing our efforts to earn your long-term support, and we sincerely appreciate your patronage. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOn February 5, 2024, the "Weekly Building Management" featured a major article on the "Disaster Prevention Special Feature: Lessons from Large-Scale Earthquakes," highlighting the "Bousai Power Generation BOX." A survey conducted by Askul in August 2022 on "Awareness, Preparation, and Measures for Disaster Prevention in the Workplace" revealed that while only 18.2% of offices stock emergency generators as disaster prevention supplies, 38.1% expressed a desire to stock them if they had decision-making authority. Additionally, the second most common reason for not having disaster supplies was "lack of storage space," cited by 38.1% of respondents. The "Bousai Power Generation BOX," which specializes in power supply and combines storage space, was developed based on these needs. It can also serve a role in "community contribution" by providing power supply to local residents during disasters, alongside the company's own "power outage measures." Since its release, the "Bousai Power Generation BOX" has received positive feedback and numerous inquiries. We encourage anyone considering disaster prevention measures to feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationG&ECO Co., Ltd., Nagata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Resilience Lab Co., Ltd. have launched the "Bousai Power Generation BOX," which combines a generator, storage battery, and solar panel. Our significant strength lies in our ability to contribute to the community as a "disaster preparedness charging station" during emergencies, in addition to our own "power outage measures." The "Noto Peninsula Earthquake of Reiwa Year 6," which struck the Noto Peninsula on January 1, 2024, caused extensive damage. Our company has been engaged in support activities, albeit modestly, by providing generators in collaboration with local governments in the affected areas. With various supplies in short supply, roads have been cut off in many places, and restoring power after outages is taking time. Moreover, we have witnessed cases where generators, despite being available, could not operate due to a lack of gasoline. The limited passable roads are not only routes for supplies but also for emergency vehicles, making the supply of aid materials challenging. This has reinforced the importance of being prepared in advance. We would be very pleased if we could contribute to the safety and security of your daily lives through preparedness. We encourage companies that have not yet implemented their own power outage measures, as well as apartment complexes and regional hubs like roadside stations, to consider our solutions.

Free membership registrationTomorrow marks the 12th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. With March 11 approaching and awareness of disaster prevention rising, I would like to share information about the participatory disaster prevention event "Our Disaster Prevention," held on February 26 in Iitate Village, Fukushima Prefecture. During the event, we set aside a time for a simulated blackout, where participants experienced a power outage and then lit up electricity using a generator. We also conducted activities such as "food distribution" and "foot baths" using generators and storage batteries. Based on the voices of those who have actually been affected, we prepared various content, and many people participated. For more details about the event, please check out the column. *You can view detailed content of the column through the related links. For more information, please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationToday, January 31st, is "Disaster Prevention Agricultural Land Day." "Disaster Prevention Agricultural Land Day" can be read as "bou = 1 sai = 31" (disaster prevention) as a play on words. It was established in recognition of the importance of agricultural land and reservoirs as significant open spaces in urban areas, highlighted by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. There is a reason why the content for the February issue is being released a bit early on this day. In fact, the high school that produced the "Kamado Bench" is "Tottori Prefectural Kurayoshi Agricultural High School." Yes, it is an "agricultural high school." Please take a look at the initiatives of "Tottori Prefectural Kurayoshi Agricultural High School," which created the "Kamado Bench." *For more details on the column, you can view it through the related links. Free membership registrationToday, January 17th, is "Disaster Prevention and Volunteer Day." On this day in 1995, the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred, which sparked an increase in volunteer activities primarily among students. This led to the recognition of this day with the aim of deepening awareness of volunteer activities and strengthening disaster prevention. On this "Disaster Prevention and Volunteer Day," we would like to actively promote our "New Year Special Project" with the hope of spreading knowledge about disaster prevention and helping in any way we can. Please take a look! *Details of the column can be viewed through the related links. For more information, please feel free to contact us.

I believed until the third grade, but I accidentally saw my parents placing presents by my pillow and learned the truth... This time, we will become "G&ECO Santa" and deliver presents to the children who still believe in Santa. During the Christmas season, employees of G&ECO will become Santa and deliver gifts in the project "G&ECO Santa PROJECT." Free membership registrationWhat are the things in your everyday life that you take for granted and cannot imagine being without? For example, turning on a tap to get water, pressing a button to turn on the lights, or flushing the toilet at the end—these are all essential aspects of daily life, and the more indispensable they are, the harder it is to imagine what it would be like if they were no longer available. In a survey asking, "What are you most worried about during a disaster?" the fourth most common response was "not being able to use the toilet," and it was found that women are more concerned about "toilets" than men. In this "G-Eco Disaster Preparedness" event, I participated in a workshop on "almost paper toilets" and experienced everything from assembly to disassembly of these toilets. Please take a look. *For more details about the column, you can view it through the related links. For further inquiries, feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationHave you ever wondered how useful "generators" and "batteries" really are when a disaster strikes? While it's understood that "generators" and "batteries" are necessary for disaster preparedness, how effective are they during an actual emergency? It's said that we should have supplies for 72 hours after a disaster, but there aren't many stories from people who have purchased "generators" or "batteries" and actually used them for 72 hours. Members of G&ECO have thoroughly experienced this firsthand! *For more details on the column, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for more information.*

Free membership registrationYou requested information about generators and, after careful consideration, you chose the "Elsona" as an emergency power source. Our product is often delivered to welfare facilities and evacuation centers, but this time we delivered a generator to a private residence. Why did an individual decide to install a generator? It seems there was a particular reason behind equipping their home with a generator. We inquired about the circumstances that led to this decision and the thoughts behind it. *You can view the detailed content of this interview through the related link. Free membership registrationThe heavy rain in western Japan that occurred from June 28 to July 8, 2018 (Heisei 30). The impact was significant even in Tokushima Prefecture, where there were damages such as the isolation of communities due to landslides and many households experiencing power outages. When the power goes out, various devices become unusable, and it becomes impossible to maintain the usual way of life. This is especially burdensome for individuals with disabilities, who may suffer injuries or panic, leading to both physical and mental stress. As a result, the need for BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures in welfare facilities has been increasing in recent years. The person we are featuring this time is the director of a facility supporting people with disabilities in Tokushima Prefecture, which was affected by the heavy rain in western Japan. With a capacity of 115 residents, and including day visitors and staff, the total exceeds 200 people. We interviewed them about the importance of electricity felt during the power outage at the welfare facility and the background and thoughts behind the introduction of the emergency power generator "Elsona." *The detailed content of this interview can be viewed through the related link. Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our emergency power generator "Elsona" was delivered to the Nachi Katsuura Town Hall. This area, rich in nature and known for the Nachi Falls, has suffered significant tsunami damage from past Nankai Trough earthquakes. Considering the possibility of disasters occurring not only in summer but also in winter, it was thought that residents affected by such disasters would need a system that provides both cooling and heating to prevent them from freezing. Therefore, we introduced our generator along with a spot bazooka that can be used for both cooling and heating. The decision was made because it can utilize a power source (three-phase 200V) to operate the spot bazooka and can run on both gasoline and propane gas. 【Case Overview】 ■ Delivery Destination: Nachi Katsuura Town Hall ■ Delivery Location: Nachi Katsuura Town Elementary and Junior High Schools ■ Delivered Products: Elsona T-7500, 8 units *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
