The unique cone-shaped impeller creates a venturi effect that promotes liquid flow throughout the container, allowing for efficient and uniform stirring at low shear. The patented Crack impeller can dissolve powders like a dissolver at high shear and can also be used as a pre-emulsifier while stirring the entire container. The VISCO JET stirrer operates at a peripheral speed of 1.3 to 3.5 m/sec, which is very low compared to conventional stirrers, preventing the formation of vortex flow and air entrapment, allowing for energy-efficient stirring. Selected for the SBIR Program Phase I of the U.S. National Science Foundation. Mass production of uniform nanoparticles ranging from 50 to over 500 nm at a continuous rate of over 100 mL/min. Functionality for nanoparticle concentration and organic solvent dilution is provided by a TFF unit. Achieved a filling rate of over 99% through active loading of liposomes.
