The crawler transporter, built in 1965, has been transporting rockets and spacecraft to the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center for over 40 years. However, modifications were necessary to transport combinations of rockets and launch towers that are heavier than the rockets for which the crawler was designed, and considerable force was required to remove and install new bearings to attach the redesigned traction roller assembly to the crawler track. The construction of the 4.5 km Waterview Connection highway includes the deployment of a ground pressure balance machine to excavate a 2.5 km underground twin tunnel. To initiate the tunnel excavation process, it was necessary to position a 3,600-ton tunnel boring machine at the starting point. Vesuvius processes bricks used inside industrial furnaces. The bricks start in a "soft" state and need to be compressed, hardened, and heated before being placed in the furnace. They are packed into a steel box for compression, which solidifies the bricks; however, after compression, the bricks stick to the steel fixtures, requiring considerable force to remove. Before Rangemaster installed the new 1,200-ton ring frame hydraulic press, it was necessary to remove the existing hydraulic double-action press. The renovation of a historic building in the capital of Georgia required lifting a 3.4-meter-high steel tower. The existing Johnson Street Bridge, which has a 90-year history, is located in the heart of Victoria, British Columbia, and is in the process of being replaced with a new bridge that will serve the community for the next 100 years. The 1,100-ton bascule bridge box is composed of steel and concrete caissons and needed to be precisely lowered onto 16 large piers. Therefore, we provided 32 "CLSG high-tonnage hydraulic cylinders" and 3 "EVO synchronized lift systems." All three systems are networked, allowing one operator to control all 32 points from a master control user interface. Beluga was tasked with unloading a 1,306-ton hydrocracker from a barge and transporting it to land. Due to the weight and length of the hydrogenation unit, there were no alternatives. The company utilized two "SBL1100 gantry systems" to lift the hydrocracker from the barge to a self-propelled modular trailer (SPMT).
