Free membership registration【Product Overview】 The TBL0225-2 LISN is a 2-path 50 Ω // 2 µH LISN characterized by a frequency range of 10 Hz to 200 MHz. It is based on the standard ECSS-E-ST-20-07C Rev 1. This standard provides a general schematic for the LISN and allows for some flexibility in component values. The implementation of the TBL0225-2 is intended for use in EMC measurements of satellites and spacecraft. The LISN does not have an output for measuring conducted emissions; instead, it functions solely as a network to stabilize line impedance. An RF current monitoring probe is used to measure conducted emissions in accordance with the standard. The 2 µH inductor mimics the typical inductance of power wire harnesses in spacecraft and satellites. The LISN is inserted into the power line and power return line of the EUT.

Free membership registration**Product Overview** CDNE is a type of coupling decoupling network used as an alternative technology for measuring the radiation of lighting equipment in accordance with the CISPR 15 (EN55015) standard. This avoids the need for emission measurements in open area test sites. This method was established in CISPR 15 Edition 9 as an acceptable alternative to the conventional OATS test configuration, which requires antennas and calibrated test sites, and is specified for a frequency range of 30 MHz to 300 MHz. The CDNE method and its associated limit of up to 300 MHz apply only to EUTs with clock frequencies below 30 MHz. In this case, the product is considered to comply with the requirements for 300 MHz to 1000 MHz. Compared to CDN, CDNE is specified much more rigorously, with reduced common mode (CM) impedance tolerances and the addition of parameters for CM phase tolerances and differential mode impedance equal to 100 Ω. If the longitudinal conversion loss is at least 20 dB, it can prevent symmetrical voltage from affecting the measurement results.

Free membership registrationThe TBBT01 Bias-Tee is a device used to measure the saturation effect of power inductors and the effect of bias voltage on capacitors. Most bias tees available for power inductor testing operate at low frequencies, making them unsuitable for evaluating RF power amplifiers or decoupling/bias inductors in EMC filters. However, RF bias tees typically have limited current capacity and cannot be used in lower frequency ranges. The TBBT01 can measure not only high currents but also high bandwidth. Power inductors often use ferrite cores, which are affected by magnetic saturation. Even before reaching the magnetic saturation current specified in the inductor's datasheet, the inductance begins to decrease, and the RF characteristics of the component deteriorate. The impact of DC current is often underestimated when constructing EMC filters, leading to filters not functioning as planned. A high-current bias tee is necessary to evaluate the frequency response of EMC filters under load conditions. High-current bias tees can be used for a wide range of additional applications.

Unlike TEM cells that have limitations at higher frequencies, the GTEM cell can operate at several GHz. Using a spectrum analyzer equipped with a tracking generator, modulated power amplifier, and EMCview software, you can inspect the radiated emissions and immunity of products before and after EMC-related design changes. Engineers can easily verify whether their changes have improved, adversely affected, or left unchanged the EMC performance. With the use of the GTEM cell, there is no need to rely on guesswork. When the TBGTC1 is positioned vertically, the required area is only 78 cm × 52 cm. The EUT can be easily placed on the included wooden board located on the GTEM cell spacer.

It is a useful tool for validating the correct operation of the LISN, the proper setup of the spectrum analyzer, and the correct configuration. Using a rotary switch, you can select between five fixed comb frequencies and an external excitation input in the frequency range of 5 kHz to 300 MHz. The comb generator comes with country-specific adapter cables that plug into the DUT socket of the LISN (when powered off). This device operates on four AA nickel-metal hydride batteries and includes an external charger. The TBCG3-CN generates a comb spectrum with approximately 8 dB flatness over a frequency range of up to 1.5 GHz and features a 50-ohm output with a female N connector. The housing is made from solid aluminum, and the 1/4 inch – 20 UNC screws on the comb panel are compatible with standard tripod bolts.

Free membership registration**Product Overview** The TBL05100-1 is a universal 5µH LISN that meets the requirements of several standards. The TBL05100 is factory-jumpered to 50Ω // 5µH + 1Ω, complying with the impedance and phase isolation specifications of CISPR 16-1-2 and CISPR 25. By setting the internal jumper, it can be converted to a 50Ω // 5µH variant that supports standards such as CISPR 25, MIL-STD-461G, ISO11452-4, and ISO 7637-2. Adding an external 10F capacitor will adjust the impedance to meet DO-160 specifications. The LISN is inserted into the power line of the EUT (Equipment Under Test). The conducted noise from the EUT's power terminals can be monitored via a BNC connector using a spectrum analyzer or measurement receiver. The 5µH inductor isolates the source (supply) terminal from the EUT terminals. Using two TBL05100-1 units in combination with the Tekbox LISN Mate allows for the separate measurement of common mode noise and differential mode noise.
