The UL06 series is a transmissive ultrasonic sensor for label detection. The sensor element is housed within a slit and detects labels passing through that slit. The minimum spacing between labels is 2mm, and the transport speed is 4 m/sec, providing performance that covers most applications. Since the detection principle is based on ultrasound, it enables stable detection without malfunctioning, even with transparent films for both the backing and the labels. The setup is simple, allowing for static or dynamic configuration via the teach-in button located on the top of the main unit. It is compatible with IO-Link, and in addition to configuration on the main unit, it can also be visually configured on the BSS (Baume Sensor Suite).
