In response to the many voices wishing for the use of LED as an emergency light source even in explosion-proof areas, we have developed explosion-proof emergency LED lighting fixtures that have passed type testing from the Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association, received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and display the JIL mark from the Japan Lighting Manufacturers Association, making us the first in the domestic industry to do so. Orders will begin on September 15, 2016. Since the JIL mark is affixed to the product, the building confirmation process can continue smoothly as before.

The light source (lamp) can be replaced independently, allowing for reduced capital investment during lighting equipment updates compared to conventional integrated LED lighting fixtures. Additionally, it achieves brightness equivalent to a high-output FHF32 two-lamp setup while reducing power consumption by approximately 36% compared to traditional fluorescent lamps (based on our company's estimation conditions). Particularly during emergency lighting, the installation spacing can be wider than traditional light sources (fluorescent lamps), allowing for a reduction in the number of units installed and lowering initial costs. The straight tube LED lamp, which serves as the light source during normal operation, is housed in a highly sealed lamp protection cover, making it resistant to dirt and corrosion, and protecting the lamp from external impacts. Since a straight tube LED lamp is used, lamp replacement is possible. During a power outage, the emergency light source is consolidated at the end of the fixture and lights up using a built-in battery. When installed in the same area as the sealed LED fixtures (LCMA series), the design can be unified. Additionally, a lamp monitor (green) lights up to indicate the charging status of the emergency light at a glance. If the green lamp is lit during normal operation, it indicates normal function; if the lamp monitor is off, it is time to replace the rechargeable battery due to its lifespan. The estimated lifespan of the rechargeable battery is 4 to 6 years. Battery replacement can be easily and quickly performed while the fixture is installed.
