To create the optimal LNP, it takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to examine and pursue formulation conditions. LNPs are nanoparticles composed of multiple lipids. Researchers of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) spend a tremendous amount of time on screening, optimization, and scaling up experiments to achieve optimal performance, spot-on targeting, and controlled release of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Factors such as solubility, pH stability, payload release, and encapsulation all depend on particle size, shape, and structure. "Leprechaun" is a system that analyzes whether lentivirus particles are of the correct size and structure, and can measure viral titer.
