[Key Lecture Content]
As environmental regulations become stricter worldwide, the automotive industry is said to be in a once-in-a-century transformation period centered on carbon neutrality. While BEVs are a promising solution, high prices, limited range, and charging infrastructure constraints have become bottlenecks for widespread adoption, forcing companies to rethink their strategies. In this context, creating added value that goes beyond merely replacing traditional internal combustion engine vehicles is essential for the proliferation of BEVs.
This lecture will view electric vehicles as "moving batteries" and explain the value of electrification and the potential for social implementation through examples of V2X technology that integrates stationary mobility into social infrastructure and detachable batteries.
