"Thea flavin powder TY-1" is a fermented tea made from tea leaves produced through a patented method developed in collaboration between industry, academia, and government, and is dried using a filtered concentrated spray-drying process. It contains more than 1% of free-type theaflavin, as well as components from black tea, green tea, and pu-erh tea. Theaflavin has a structure formed by the combination of two green tea catechins and is referred to as "super catechin" due to its functional properties that exceed those of catechins.
