Far infrared rays have the characteristic of directly heating objects by utilizing radiative heat transfer. The range of infrared wavelengths is from 0.8μm to 1,000μm, and the range with wavelengths longer than 3μm is called far infrared. Heating of objects by far infrared means that the absorption of far infrared rays causes the molecules that make up the object to vibrate.
