The SystemBase "SB16C1058" is an 8-channel UART controller semiconductor equipped with automatic software/hardware flow control and a 256-byte FIFO (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter). With a data processing speed of up to 5.3 Mbps and a 256-byte FIFO, it reduces the load on the CPU and processes more data. Furthermore, the SB16C1058 provides very short access times, allowing for more idle time for the CPU. The priority interrupt system control is useful for handling seven independent interrupts.
