The Semiconductor Wire IQI (Image Quality Indicator for semiconductors and electronic components) is an IQI designed to manage image quality and reproducibility in radiographic testing of electronic components and semiconductor devices, based on ASTM E801. It is composed of transparent acrylic resin, shim materials, lead particles, tungsten wire, and lead identification numbers, and is used to approximate the radiation transmission conditions of the electronic components being inspected.
