The standard air knife manufactured by Exair is a quiet and efficient method for cleaning, drying, or cooling parts, webs, or conveyors. The standard air knife utilizes the Coanda effect to create an air flow from the surrounding environment. Using a small amount of compressed air as a power source, the standard air knife draws in a large volume of ambient air to generate a high-speed air curtain with a large capacity as a blow-off. The standard air knife has an air amplification ratio of 30:1, which is three times that of drilled hole pipes. Therefore, replacing homemade blow-off components can improve compressed air consumption by 40% to 90%. The standard air knife is also lower in price than the super air knife. Additionally, the noise level is improved to about half. As a result, it provides a high-speed, large-volume air sheet along with a reduction in noise levels and compressed air consumption.
