High corrosion-resistant chrome plating, known as Croston, is a non-crack plating that does not have cracks typically found in standard chrome plating layers.

◆◇◆Features◆◇◆ ◆Film Structure There are no cracks due to the special crystal structure. ◆Corrosion Resistance Due to the absence of cracks, the corrosion resistance is excellent. A single-layer plating of 20μm or more is expected to provide sufficient corrosion protection. However, it cannot be used in environments that cause dissolution corrosion of chrome plating. ◆Hardness Slightly lower than normal hard chrome plating, approximately Hv600-700. ◆Heat Resistance 400℃ ◆Glossiness and Processing Characteristics Like regular chrome plating, it can be peeled and reprocessed. The glossiness can be adjusted, and specifications of 60°HGs (haze) of 0.6 or higher can be set. ◆For more details, please contact us.
