Introduction of the preservative polylysine / fermented polyamino acids that contribute to food poisoning prevention.

We provide easy-to-understand materials explaining the natural preservative polylysine, which prevents food poisoning. ε-Polylysine (hereafter referred to as polylysine) is an amino acid-derived preservative widely used as a food preservative. By adding polylysine, the growth of microorganisms that cause food poisoning can be prevented. Every year, food poisoning caused by microorganisms is a significant issue and is frequently reported in the news. Even foods that do not appear to be spoiled can rapidly proliferate microorganisms if the growth environment is suitable, so caution is necessary. Even if something looks clean, contamination by bacteria can progress, posing a risk of food poisoning. By ensuring hygiene management during the manufacturing process, proper storage at appropriate temperatures, and the appropriate use of the preservative polylysine, food safety can be more effectively protected. 【Features】 ■ A safe material produced through fermentation by natural microorganisms (not genetically modified organisms) ■ Provides a good image as a natural fermented product ■ Listed in the existing additive registry as a food preservative ■ A safe domestic product *Please feel free to contact us.

[Seminar Report] "Mastering Soy Sauce Quality with Numbers! The Cutting Edge of Component Analysis" ~ Introducing Advanced Analytical Techniques to Streamline Soy Sauce Production ~

Recently, Foss Japan held a webinar introducing the latest analytical equipment specialized in the component analysis of soy sauce. There is growing anticipation for methods that can analyze each component of soy sauce with high precision and simultaneously, based on FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), which has become widespread in various domestic industries. Soy sauce is an essential seasoning in Japanese food culture, and its flavor and quality are determined by the balance of its components. However, accurate component analysis is indispensable for maintaining and improving the quality of soy sauce. In this seminar, we introduced the possibilities of soy sauce production through our analytical solutions, from raw material management to product analysis! Thank you to all the customers who participated. Overview: - Utilization of analytical equipment in soy sauce production - Features and applications of the new generation of analytical equipment - Demonstration and Q&A If you would like the materials, please contact Foss Japan. Contact: 03-5962-4811 / info@foss.co.jp

[Report] Milk Solution Week (Morioka Venue)

Recently, we held a seminar, an open house (sample measurement), and a technical training session for users as part of Milk Solution Week in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. In the seminar, we introduced a wide range of topics, including not only the MilkoScan but also the automation of somatic cell count/bacterial count analysis and sterile sampling. During the open house, participants had the opportunity to experience measuring their own samples using the new MilkoScan FT3, and to confirm the operation of somatic cell count/bacterial count analysis using the BacSomatic. Although the parts manufacturing for the FT1 will conclude in three years, we conducted a technical training session for this still-active model. Thank you to everyone who participated. Foss Japan will continue to provide useful information and hold events for everyone in the future. If you are interested in seminar materials or other inquiries, please contact Foss Japan.

ROV-based underwater unexploded ordnance (UXO) and hazardous material detection solution.

In preliminary surveys for offshore wind power generation and port construction, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and illegally dumped hazardous materials on the seabed pose significant risks to safety and project timelines. Due to the fear of secondary disasters, direct exploration by divers is challenging, necessitating safe and accurate location identification methods. We have now launched a solution page introducing a method that combines magnetic survey technology with ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) to conduct safe exploration without contacting the target objects. The high-mobility ROV "MOGOOL series," capable of carrying large sensors, supports the planning of safe project execution. - The magnetic survey device captures magnetic anomalies of unexploded ordnance buried in mud or sand, accurately mapping their location and depth in 3D. - It contributes to zero-contact exploration in seabed surveys before offshore wind construction, drum can investigations, and safety checks prior to dredging. - The MOGOOL-PRO P14000 can stably carry large sensors with a maximum underwater payload of 70.0 kg and a total of eight thrusters.

Can be used for various underwater tasks such as observation, investigation, and inspection of underwater structures!
