Business Description: Design/Manufacturing/Testing of Control Devices and Distribution Boards ■Challenges Before Implementation Operations and management were paper-based without attribute information assigned to drawings. Standardization of design was not achieved. There was a heavy reliance on customization, leading to a lack of scalability. ■Reasons for Implementing ACAD-DENKI Ability to use drawing functions of AutoCAD/BricsCAD, providing high flexibility and ease of implementation on-site. Data utilization through the assignment of attribute information is possible. A wide range of built-in standard functions allows for operation without relying on customization. ■Specific Initiatives Improved search efficiency through the addition of properties. Organized the parts master, limiting manual input to order elements only. Integration with parts procurement lists and production management systems. Collaboration with manufacturing for equipment label data, etc. ■Effects As a result of these initiatives, a reduction of 14 to 20 hours of labor per order was achieved. Manual tasks were eliminated, leading to improved accuracy, standardization of work, and increased efficiency.
