Aluminum nitride, with its high thermal conductivity and high electrical insulation properties, is attracting attention as a material for high thermal conductivity substrates and is also expected to be used in next-generation power semiconductors.

Heat-resistant and shock-resistant ceramics 'BN (boron nitride)'

BN (boron nitride), also known as "white graphite," has many excellent properties, including thermal shock resistance, electrical insulation, heat resistance, and high thermal conductivity.

BN is made from a white powder with a crystal structure similar to graphite. Therefore, it has similarities to graphite in terms of heat resistance, thermal shock resistance, lubricity, machinability, and chemical stability. Vibrator that lowers acoustic impedance

Composite transducers are structures where grooves are processed in ceramics, and resin is filled into those grooves. In conventional piezoelectric elements, when ultrasonic waves are emitted from objects with different sound speeds, such as air to water or biological tissues, the ultrasonic waves are hindered by the acoustic impedance barrier (which is the product of density and sound speed), making efficient emission difficult. Composite transducers can reduce density by decreasing the volume of the piezoelectric element, which in turn can lower the acoustic impedance.
