REMBE's unique graphite rupture disk is a product that boasts high performance and reliability characteristic of REMBE. It is designed to withstand highly corrosive media, low pressure, and high temperatures. All rupture disks manufactured by REMBE, including the graphite rupture disk, are made in Germany. The maximum operating pressure of the graphite rupture disk is 80% of the minimum burst pressure*. REMBE's graphite rupture disks are suitable for high temperatures due to a unique chemical vapor deposition method called "PyC coating (pyrolytic carbon)." They can operate under oxidizing and reducing atmospheres from -180 °C to +500 °C, and under inert conditions, they can withstand temperatures up to +1,500 °C. Even with the addition of vacuum support, the aforementioned operating conditions are maintained. Depending on the application and pipe nominal diameter, the rupture disk can be directly installed between flanges. It is also possible to incorporate a signaling device into existing control systems to notify of disk reactions.
