How Heat Transfers / Conduction and Transmission (Teitokusha Column)
Basic knowledge about heat transfer/conduction and transmission.
Since its establishment over approximately 130 years ago, the company has spent about 100 years as a refractory manufacturer and has ventured into the electric heater industry in the last 30 years. We have been committed to responding to the wishes and requests of customers in various industries and focusing on the development of new products based on new technology. That is why we provide useful knowledge about heaters. <How Heat Transfers> Three Principles of Heat Transfer + 1 ⇒ Conduction, Convection, Radiation + Convection (liquid and gas) ~Conduction~ A form of heat transfer within the same material. Heat moves from the high-temperature side to the low-temperature side. The conduction characteristics change depending on the thermal conductivity (which can be altered). ~Convection~ Heat moves between different materials (solid, liquid, gas). The efficiency of heat transfer between solids varies significantly based on the degree of contact. If the heating element is closely attached to the workpiece, the transfer efficiency becomes very good. *For more details, please contact us or download the PDF.
