[Example] Belt Replacement Special Jig Special Tool

Successfully reduced the time by approximately 18 hours and 15 minutes! Each component was inspected, resulting in the replacement of 25 motors.

Belt conveyors are essential in the fields of "manufacturing" and "transporting goods." In this blog, we introduce maintenance examples of such logistics equipment. The lifespan of a belt varies depending on factors such as belt width, operating hours, and the weight of the transported items, so it is difficult to determine precisely. However, it seems that the belt in this case has not been replaced for about 10 years. Some belts had been repaired, so I believe the original replacement guideline is around 5 years. The stability of the jig when tightening the screws is significantly improved. It does not lose strength and allows for smooth widening between the rollers. Additionally, the screws can now be turned without tools, reducing the belt replacement time from about 20 minutes to approximately 15 minutes with the use of the jig. *For detailed information on the case, you can view it through the related links. Please feel free to contact us for more details.

[Example] Machining a shape with a combined surface of an arc section and a right angle using a jig.

It has been shaped to fit snugly with a flat kamaboko shape and screw holes!

In this blog, we introduce examples of processed products with somewhat complicated shapes. The surface has a complex cylindrical shape, and the opposite side is also not flat, featuring a complex planar machining. This product is considered unprocessable because it cannot be fixed in a machine under normal circumstances. While it can be seen as troublesome, this is where the technology of Moro Seisakusho shines, and the accumulation of experience is demonstrated. Therefore, the hope for lathe processing sought advice from veteran processing technicians within the company, and together with milling machinists, they decided to create a jig and tackle the challenge. As a result, they were able to finish it in a shape that fits snugly with the flat surface of the kamaboko shape and the screw holes. *For more details on the case, you can view it through the related links. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

About Cutting Tool Jigs and Mounting Devices (Machining Center and Milling Machine Edition)

The equipment owned by our company is of a three-axis specification! We can manufacture various shapes.

In this blog, we explain the fixtures for machining tools such as milling machines and machining centers, which "fix the material and rotate the cutting tool." These machines can perform processes such as drilling holes, cutting outer diameters, and hollowing out plate-shaped materials. While the basic operations of both milling machines and machining centers are the same, milling machines are operated manually. Additionally, both milling machines and machining centers apply strong cutting forces during processing, so it is essential to securely and stably fix the material. In the related links below, we also introduce a case study of machining holes in the bottom surface of a resin cup-shaped container. Please take a look. *You can view the detailed content of the blog through the related links. For more information, feel free to contact us.*
