Cold roll forming perfected by OF Industries.

Advanced technology and professional thinking master cold roll forming! Introducing production technology.

We would like to introduce the 'Cold Roll Forming' perfected by OF Industries. There are two methods for this forming: the "roll extrusion type" using a forming machine and the "roll drawing type" using a drawing bench. Depending on the lot, shape, thickness, and other factors, we select the forming method that maximizes the characteristics of the formed product. Our advanced technology, accumulated over 70 years, enables us to create highly precise roll molds, and the number of mold types we can produce exceeds 1,000. [Methods of Cold Roll Forming] ■ Roll extrusion type ■ Roll drawing type *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Plastic injection molding

We provide high-precision parts using the molding technology that we have accumulated over many years since our establishment.

The most common molding method for plastic parts involves pouring melted resin into a mold, cooling it, and solidifying it. With the technical expertise cultivated since our establishment, we continue to provide high-precision and high-strength components for fields such as medical and automotive. We accommodate a range of materials from general-purpose resins to engineering plastics. (A list of main materials is available in the catalog.) We also have other materials available, so please feel free to contact us.

Introducing the benefits of MIM with examples! Materials are currently available.

Due to mold forming, it is possible to create various complex shapes in one go! This reduces processing and leads to cost reduction.

We would like to introduce examples where benefits arise from Metal Injection Molding (MIM). MIM, which shapes complex geometries using molds similar to plastic injection molding, can produce parts that are closer to the final shape. By reducing the number of machining areas and minimizing them, it can lead to cost reductions. Additionally, by combining parts and transforming them into complex shapes through MIM, it is possible to create shapes that leverage the cost-saving advantages of the MIM process, while also eliminating processes such as welding and assembly. 【Examples of Benefits】 ■ Horizontal hole shapes and undercut shapes - Shaping complex geometries using molds like plastic injection molding - Can be produced in shapes close to the final form (near-net shape) - Reducing machining areas allows for cost reductions ■ Integration of parts - Combining parts to transform them into complex shapes for MIM - Can create shapes that lead to cost reductions utilizing the MIM process - Eliminating processes such as welding and assembly can also contribute to cost reduction *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Press the material tightly against the mold with compressed air to achieve the desired shape! [Air Pressure Molding]

Molding with sharp surface shapes equivalent to injection molding is possible! This is a method that uses compressed air to adhere to the mold and achieve the desired shape.

Air pressure forming is a method that involves using compressed air at 3 to 10 Kg/cm² to closely adhere a heated and softened sheet to a mold, thereby achieving the desired shape. By making the surface in contact with the mold the product surface, it is possible to create sharp surface shapes comparable to injection molding, as well as to form undercuts and reentrant shapes. 【Features】 ■ Reduces mold costs and allows for quick production ■ Easy to make partial design changes ■ Capable of large sizes and small lot production *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Molding

In-house integrated production from molding to plating and assembly is now possible. We also support mold manufacturing and maintenance.

Since 1966, Platinum Plating has continued to evolve as a top runner in resin plating treatment. In January 2019, Platinum Plating took a new step by introducing two large molding machines, enabling in-house integrated production from molding to plating and assembly of large parts. By addressing the molding process, we aim to enhance quality assurance and become a manufacturer trusted by our customers. This decision to introduce large molding machines was driven by customer requests for plating large parts starting from molding. Moving forward, Platinum Plating will continue to evolve to meet customer needs. Additionally, we can collaborate with partner companies to manufacture molds tailored to customer requirements.

About the Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM) Manufacturing Process [INDO-MIM]

<Documents explaining the manufacturing process are now available> Ceramic cores are widely used primarily in the aerospace and industrial equipment markets.

Introducing the "CIM Business" of INDO-MIM Private Ltd. "Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM)" involves mixing fine ceramic powder with a polymer binder, granulating it to create raw material. The raw material is then heated to create a viscous slurry state, after which green parts are produced through injection molding. Furthermore, brown parts are manufactured by removing the binder portion using a solvent (debinding). The brown parts are densified through sintering to become the final product. [CIM Manufacturing Process] ■Raw Material ■Injection Molding ■Binder Removal ■Sintering INDO-MIM's MIM parts are active in various fields worldwide! We provide information in Japanese for Japanese companies, so please feel free to contact us. *Please refer to the PDF download for white papers and reference materials.
