DSI (Die Slide Injection Molding) is an injection molding method developed by Japan Steel Works that allows for the rapid and accurate molding of complex internal structures in hollow bodies. In the first injection, semi-finished products (two-part products) are molded, and the mold is slid using a hydraulic mechanism to form the hollow body. Further, melting and bonding are performed through a second injection.
