[Technical Data] Gear-Integrated Motor for Small AGVs and Small Robots

A compact gear is built into the motor! It can deliver high torque while maintaining the same motor size. *Latest technical documentation: Special presentation of the technical documentation for the gear-integrated motor!

The gear-in-motor "GMH series" is a lightweight and compact high-efficiency geared motor that incorporates a small planetary gear within a coreless structure motor. This is achieved by utilizing the hollow structure, which is one of the features of the coreless design. By embedding the gear in the hollow part, it enables space-saving for the entire system. Furthermore, by placing the gear inside the motor, it also contributes to the quietness of the geared motor. By serving as an alternative to products with gearheads, it contributes to the miniaturization of systems and robots. Since there is no iron core, there are no losses that cause heat generation, allowing for high-speed rotation. It is widely used in small AGVs (automated guided vehicles), small transport robots, and compact robots! 【Features】 ■ Lightweight and compact with powerful performance due to the special coreless structure ■ Suitable for small applications requiring high-speed rotation ■ Excellent quietness due to the built-in small planetary gear ■ Adjustable to desired rotation speed and torque. Custom motors can be manufactured! ■ Achieves miniaturization of geared motors by placing small gears inside the motor ■ Options for encoders and brakes are also available For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Technical Data: Motor Driver with Regenerative Brake Function - RB Series

By applying regenerative braking when the motor exceeds the specified speed, it becomes possible to rotate at the designated speed.

Instead of slowing down with mechanical brakes like powder brakes, motion control can be easily achieved electrically. When the motor rotates faster than the specified or set speed, the motor is used as a generator to slow down that speed and apply the brake. The four-quadrant driver is overwhelmingly cheaper compared to servo drivers. It is a recommended product for those who do not need a servo but want a certain level of control. We offer the technical documentation for the RB series for free. Please refer to the catalog for details. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

What is a coreless motor?? #CorelessMotor #TechnicalDocumentation

What exactly is a coreless motor? I will explain it briefly. I will discuss the differences in appearance, the operating principles, as well as the advantages and disadvantages.

This is a technical information that explains coreless motors in simple terms. A coreless motor is a motor that does not have an iron core, which makes it compact and lightweight. Products manufactured with coreless motors include vibration motors for mobile phones and linear motors that control the autofocus function in smartphones. It may not be an exaggeration to say that we are constantly relying on coreless motors without even realizing it. Devices like earphones and speakers are also referred to as voice coil type coreless motors, so I believe coreless motors are present in many aspects of our lives. However, core motors are overwhelmingly more manufactured and used, and more than 95% of motors in the world are likely core motors. The reason for this is that while coreless motors are suitable for ultra-precision applications, they are said to be unsuitable for high-power applications. We are developing and manufacturing coreless motors that overturn the common understanding of typical coreless motors.

Basic Technology of Brushless Motors - Beginner's Edition #Brushless #BrushlessDC

We will introduce the basic knowledge and essential elements of brushless motors. Let's learn the fundamentals of brushless motors. #BrushlessBasics

A brushed DC motor is a type of motor that has electrodes called "brushes" and a commutator, and it mechanically switches the current by making contact between the two to rotate the motor. In contrast, a brushless motor uses an electronic circuit made up of power elements such as transistors instead of mechanical contacts like "brushes" and "commutators," and it rotates the motor by electrically switching the current.
