[Construction Case] Correction of sunken store floor due to consolidation settlement in a large chain store.

Here is an example of "settlement correction work" carried out at a large chain store in Akita Prefecture. Due to consolidation settlement, a maximum settlement of 121mm occurred. We addressed this using the Upcon method, which produces almost no noise, dust, or vibration, while paying particular attention to nighttime noise for nearby residents during construction. The work was carried out over four nights outside of business hours. We injected polyurethane resin into the floor slab and corrected all areas within the construction range, including the maximum settlement of 121mm, to within the planned values. The SCM8000 is a machining material made from ultra-high heat-resistant polyimide UPI natural grade, compressed and molded using the PBI method. It features ultra heat resistance, a load deflection temperature of up to 480°C, excellent mechanical properties, good wear resistance, low water absorption, and anti-static/conductive properties. RILSAN (Polyamide 11, PA11)

High-performance polyamide 11 made from 100% plant-derived carbon: high-performance polyamide based on PA11 (Nylon 11).

By pressing the seeds of "castor bean," which can be cultivated even in barren land where edible plants do not grow, we can obtain "castor oil." Arkema synthesizes 11-aminoundecanoic acid (PA11 monomer) by chemically processing castor oil and is the only company in the world that manufactures and sells polyamide 11 (PA11, nylon 11) under the brand name Rilsan. Rilsan has obtained the biomass mark established by the Japan Organic Resources Association and has been certified as biomass plastic by the Japan Bioplastics Association, being listed on the positive list. Rilsan (PA11) has good crystallinity, making it significantly superior in "chemical resistance," "impact resistance," and "thermal degradation resistance" compared to PA12 (nylon 12), which has similar properties.
