Introducing the heat treatment of the precipitated hardening silicone alloy! We will solve issues related to the processing process.

Precipitation hardened stainless steel achieves high hardness through relatively low-temperature heat treatment, resulting in fewer issues such as distortion, cracking, and oxidation scale attachment compared to quenched steel. This contributes to the simplification of the processing process and shorter delivery times. Precipitation hardened silicon alloy features minimal dimensional changes during aging heat treatment and surface modification processes at temperatures below 500°C. Silicon alloy resolves processing process issues. High-quality ferritic stainless steel "FS-1" [Special Metal Excel]

Ferritic stainless steel with a nickel content of 1%. This material has improved corrosion resistance and strength compared to SUS430.

FS-1 is a unique steel grade developed by our company, which is a ferritic stainless steel that incorporates nickel (Ni) into the representative steel grade SUS430. This allows it to maintain the characteristics of ferritic stainless steel while providing a certain level of strength and corrosion resistance. It can also be used as an alternative to SUS304, which is commonly used in general environments. The main features of FS-1 are as follows: (1) Formability superior to SUS430 FS-1 has sufficient formability compared to SUS430, allowing for high-precision press processing without causing wrinkling. (2) Strength equivalent to SUS304 FS-1 can achieve full hardness with a hardness of HV330 and tensile strength of 1100 MPa (equivalent to the strength of SUS304-3/4H). (3) Minimal impact from fluctuations in nickel prices With a nickel content of only 1%, FS-1 is largely unaffected by fluctuations in nickel prices, enabling stable cost management.

【Spring Trivia】About SUS631-CP and SUS631-CSP

Introducing some trivia about springs! Our company uses SUS631-CP material instead of O material.

The JIS standard heat treatment symbol for SUS631-CSP includes four types: O material for solution heat treatment finish, and 1/2H, 3/4H, and H for cold-rolled finish. However, due to the lack of availability of O material, our company uses SUS631-CP material instead. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of SUS631-CP and SUS631-CSPO materials are the same, but there are differences in plate thickness tolerance and manufacturing processes. The characteristic of SUS631, similar to wire, is that its tensile strength and hardness increase due to precipitation hardening heat treatment (because the added aluminum precipitates), but the conditions differ from those of wire (air-cooled after heating at 470±10°C for 1 hour). The "EXEO-CR20" is a martensitic stainless steel that achieves both high hardness and high corrosion resistance through its unique component design and dissolution technology. In our in-house tests, we confirmed a high hardness of around 60 HRC and a tensile strength exceeding 2 GPa. Additionally, it has achieved wear resistance equivalent to SUS440C and corrosion resistance greater than SUS420J2. It suppresses coarse carbides, excels in fatigue strength, and also has good grindability, contributing to reduced processing time. 【Features】 ■ Realizes the refinement of carbides and reduction of non-metallic inclusions ■ Applicable to parts requiring corrosion resistance and high hardness, such as fuel injection system components, rotating and sliding parts, cutting tools, and medical instruments. ★ We are currently offering materials that introduce performance test data and application examples.
