Random Integration Analysis Service using the RAISING Method

Developed through joint research with the National Institute of Infectious Diseases. Achieves determination of the insertion site of foreign DNA in a short time, with high sensitivity and low cost.

The "RAISING method" is a technique for detecting the insertion sites of foreign DNA in the genome. It allows for rapid and reproducible measurement results with a small amount of DNA. It can identify insertion sites of viral genome insertions, viral vector insertions, searches for fusion genes that could be drug discovery targets, and off-target knock-ins in genome editing, among others. 【Features】 - Analysis can be arranged according to the purpose and target. - Multiple insertion sites can be detected in a single analysis. - High reproducibility of results is achieved through proprietary technology. 【Analysis Examples】 - HTLV-1 (Human T-cell Leukemia Virus) Clonality Analysis Leveraging the characteristics of the RAISING method, which can quickly detect with a small amount of DNA, we achieved high detection sensitivity even with a proviral load of 0.032%. - Off-target Detection of Knock-ins in Genome Editing For knock-in mice created using CRISPR/Cas, we conducted detection of knock-in efficiency and off-target sites by combining with NGS. *For details on examples and services, please refer to the materials available for download.

[Next-Generation Sequencing Analysis Case] Genotyping Analysis

By utilizing next-generation sequencing, it is possible to perform genotyping at a higher resolution! *Case study collection available.

Genome editing technology is a powerful tool that enables free genetic modification, but genotype analysis (genotyping) is an important step in selecting modified individuals. By evaluating allele frequencies in the F0 generation through next-generation sequencing, it is possible to select individuals for breeding. Additionally, in genome editing experiments with cultured cells, a diverse population of cells with various mutations can be obtained from a single experiment, and the nature of the mutations varies depending on the experimental conditions. Next-generation sequencing allows for detailed evaluation of the mutations in the cell population. [Case Overview] - Genotyping of cultured cells using CrispRvariant - After extracting DNA from cultured cell lines edited with CRISPR/Cas, target amplicon sequencing was performed using Miseq - The obtained data was analyzed using CrispRvariant *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Failure analysis of an orange LED damaged by electrostatic discharge.

We will introduce a comparison of brightness and characteristics between good products and ESD-damaged products, along with examples of luminescence analysis using EMS microscopy!

We conduct failure analysis of orange LEDs that have been damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD). LEDs that have been destroyed in ESD testing and show a decrease in luminous intensity can be analyzed using emission luminescence and the IR-OBIRCH method, allowing us to clarify the failure phenomena. We have examples such as "Comparison of brightness and characteristics between good products and ESD-damaged products" and "Luminescence analysis using emission microscopy." [Analysis Examples] ■ Comparison of brightness and characteristics between good products and ESD-damaged products - By polishing the lens part of a bullet-type LED to flatten it, dark areas were observed during brightness comparison. ■ Luminescence analysis using emission microscopy - In ESD-damaged products, dark areas were observed under forward bias, while only the damaged areas emitted light under reverse bias. ■ IR-OBIRCH and SEI analysis - Detailed damage locations were identified through IR-OBIRCH analysis of ESD-damaged products. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Moving Boundary: Analysis of Wind Pressure Acting on a Running Train

We analyzed the aerodynamic pressure acting on a moving train.

Moving Boundary: The analysis of wind pressure acting on a moving train was conducted using numerical simulations that take into account the moving boundary. There are concerns that strong winds, such as those caused by typhoons, can overturn moving trains. Therefore, understanding the wind pressure acting on a moving train is crucial.
