It demonstrates excellent chemical resistance and maximizes its capabilities in on-site processes with long life and substrate treatment processes that have not been seen before (maximum film thickness of 1 mm can be produced).
In recent years, as the speed of fluororesin rolls has increased, they have been widely used in the processing stages of functional films and metal foils, such as acid and alkaline solutions in the preceding and subsequent process lines, traditionally as "guide rolls," "liquid draining rolls," and "transport rolls," including plating rolls and hard rubber rolls for various applications. However, these rolls have been manufactured to address contamination of substrates from transport rolls (especially the extraction of compounded materials from rubber rolls), insufficient liquid drainage leading to solution carryover, and improvements to prevent scratches. Additionally, we offer "conductive fluororesin rolls" that use conductive fluororesin paint for specific applications.
To achieve long life as a fluororesin roll, the thickness of the fluororesin coating is set between 0.3 mm and 1 mm, and the surface roughness of the roll can be adjusted as needed in the processes used (surface roughness Ra-0.2 to 0.01). The fluororesin-coated rolls are designed to prevent scratches and reduce stress on the substrate, enabling them to accommodate the acceleration of production processes.
