"SmartHeat SLT" is a self-regulating film heater that does not burn out even in the event of a malfunction.
Typically, when a heater has poor adhesion, heat accumulates inside the heater, leading to burning issues. However, in the case of this product, the resistance value sharply increases from a certain temperature, stopping the power supply, which prevents it from exceeding a certain temperature and burning out.
Additionally, while conventional heaters are affected by changes in temperature when they come into contact with foreign objects of different temperatures, this product controls each area independently. Therefore, only the part that comes into contact with the foreign object adjusts its power to maintain the temperature, while the surrounding area remains unaffected by temperature changes.
Generally, heaters are used in conjunction with temperature sensors, controllers, and temperature fuses for temperature control. However, in the case of this product, these functions are built into the heater, allowing for safe temperature control simply by connecting the power supply.
