The TECHSPEC λ/10 high-precision right-angle prisms made of synthetic quartz are available in two types: one with an aluminum metal coating on the prism's sloped surface (reflective surface) and one without. The aluminum coating is protected by an Inconel layer and a black coating. A unique prism that can rotate the image obtained from the exit surface by twice the rotation angle of the prism. Available with or without coating.
The TECHSPEC double prism, when rotated around its long axis, produces an image from the exit surface that rotates twice the angle of rotation. For example, if the prism is rotated 90°, the image is inverted by 180°. You can choose between a type with VIS 0° multi-AR coating applied to both the incident and exit surfaces, and an uncoated type without any coating. The VIS 0° multi-coating maximizes transmission efficiency in the visible range. It is designed to provide an optimal image without chromatic aberration when light is incident in parallel. The top surface of the prism has a sanded finish. Anamorphic prisms are used to enlarge the size of a laser beam in one axial direction. They are ideal for expanding only one direction (the short axis direction) of the elliptical beam emitted from a typical laser diode, transforming it into a shape that is nearly circular. Composed of two identical prisms, they can achieve an aspect ratio enlargement from 2:1 to 6:1 by placing the prisms in a specified positional relationship to each other. The anti-reflective coatings applied to the entrance and exit surfaces of the prisms offer two options. The NIR I multi-coating functions over a wide wavelength range of 600 to 1050 nm, providing excellent performance with red semiconductor lasers such as 635 nm and 670 nm.
