We would like to introduce a case study of the fixed bar rack from Gooriki Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells racks and space-saving equipment. At Fukui Lumber Co., Ltd., single-sided and double-sided bar racks were installed inside the factory, and a single-sided bar rack was set up outdoors to store products made from cedar and cypress, ranging from 2 to 4 meters in length. To efficiently store within the limited installation space in the factory, the racks were laid out considering walls and columns to minimize dead space. At Marutaka Co., Ltd., they faced difficulties in storing cylindrical insulation materials, which were prone to collapsing when stacked. Therefore, we proposed a method for storing them in a fixed quantity using insert pallets (post pallets).
