High efficiency! Super hard drill [Processing example: CFRP] Zero burr for CFRP

The "GK-HCZ" Zero Burr Drill is a revolutionary hybrid drill that finishes everything from pilot hole processing to deburring and reaming in a single operation!

The Zero Burr Drill is a revolutionary hybrid drill that enables one-shot processing without a pilot hole, suppressing burrs and achieving hole accuracy of H6 or better. This is a case study of processing carbon fiber CFRP, which is considered difficult to machine. Carbon fiber tends to produce severe burrs, delamination, and chipping during processing, and the cutting tools also wear out quickly. By using the 'GK-HCZ', we can suppress burrs, delamination, and chipping, successfully achieving clean hole drilling with just one carbide drill! [Processing Case] ■ Tool Used: GK-HCZ DLC (Drill for CFRP) ■ Coating: DLC ■ Material: CFRP (Thermosetting Carbon Reinforced Plastic) ■ Cutting Conditions: S=2500 F=50 ■ Size: φ3.0 to φ12.0 ■ Regrindable Simultaneous drilling of CFRP and aluminum can also be done cleanly without delamination. Regrinding is possible, allowing for regeneration. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Processing Example: Aluminum Thin Plate - Burr-Free Drill Zero Burr

One-shot perforation of thin plates under 1mm! Here we introduce a case of processing aluminum thin plates with zero burr (two-blade) technology.

We would like to introduce a case study of zero burr processing that our company has conducted. The tool used is the "Zero Burr (2-flute) for Aluminum and Resin," and the material is aluminum thin plate. It can perforate thin plates under 1mm in a single pass, and since it has less load compared to general drills, no deflection occurs. The Zero Burr series is an innovative hybrid drill that produces "no burrs" and achieves cost reduction by reducing the number of processes. 【Processing Case】 ■ Tool Used: Zero Burr (2-flute) for Aluminum and Resin ■ Material: Aluminum Thin Plate ■ Cutting Conditions: S=1720 F=100 ■ No burrs on either side ■ Can perforate thin plates under 1mm in a single pass ■ No deflection occurs due to lower load compared to general drills *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Processing example: MC Nylon Zero Valley Fiber

With the super hard drill "Zero Bari Drill," you can drill through soft and easily meltable MC nylon without any burrs!

This is a case of perforating MC nylon using the ultra-hard drill "Zero Buri Fiber." MC nylon is prone to melting, and even with the zero burr drill (GK-HAZ) designed for aluminum and resin, fine burrs were generated. However, with the new product Zero Buri Fiber, there are truly zero burrs!! It is now possible to perforate even more cleanly and without burrs than before!! Material being processed: MC nylon Drill used: Zero Buri Fiber Model number: GK-HFBZ Although it has a special shape, it can also be re-sharpened, contributing to cost reduction for our customers. Additionally, while the Zero Buri Fiber was developed for CFRTP, it is also ideal for softer resins. Please give it a try.

Recommended ultra-hard drill [Processing example: polypropylene] Zero burr fiber

Examples of processing polypropylene (PP) with hole drilling! Clean perforation without burrs, using a hybrid drill for fibers with multifunctionality!

Our company has developed a "mysterious drill that does not produce burrs" to solve one of the challenges in manufacturing, which is the deburring process after drilling. The Zero Burr drill is an excellent carbide drill that not only creates holes but also finishes them to be high-precision, perfectly round, and straight without any burrs. This time, we would like to introduce a processing example of Zero Burr drilling in polypropylene (PP). 【Processing Example】 ■ Tool Used: Zero Burr fiber ■ Material: PP (tool case) ■ Cutting Conditions: S=3350 F=250 ■ One-shot processing without centering or reaming ■ No melting! No burrs! This series features our innovative hybrid drill that does not produce burrs, achieving cost reduction through a decrease in the number of processes. If you are troubled by burrs, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.

A must-see for first-time customers!! We are currently offering a "First-Time Return Guarantee System"!

For first-time users of the Zero Bar Drill! If it doesn't work well for you, we will refund your money. This applies to all products in the Zero Bar series!

Our "Zero Burr Drill" is an excellent hybrid drill that prevents the generation of burrs typically produced by standard drills. We are implementing a "First-Time Return Guarantee System" for customers who have not used our "Zero Burr Drill" before. [Flow of the First-Time Return Guarantee System] 1. The user fills out and shares the specified processing condition survey form. 2. Based on the processing condition survey form, we will provide recommended conditions. 3. Testing is conducted based on the recommended conditions. 4. If the conditions do not yield satisfactory results, fill out a "Return Reason Form" and return the product. The occurrence of burrs can lead to quality defects and an increase in deburring processes. Our "Zero Burr Drill" has excellent straightness, eliminating the need for a center hole, allowing for drilling without it. As a result, two to three processing steps are eliminated, leading to reduced labor costs, cost savings, and time savings. We offer a lineup of 13 types to suit various materials, so please take this opportunity to try it out! For more details about the "First-Time Return Guarantee System," please contact us. Additionally, we are also distributing drilling videos, so please take a look.

[ISA Coat Application Example] Drill Hole Machining

The material being machined is S45C! Here is a case where hole processing of 1071 was performed, resulting in the ability for continuous processing.

We would like to introduce a case study of the application of ISA coating in drilling hole processing. The cutting samples used were carbide drills with a diameter of 8.0 mm and oil holes. After processing 500 holes, the product from Company A (AlCrN-based coating) showed wear on the margin, while the product from Company B (AlCrN-based two-layer coating) exhibited minor defects on the margin and welding in the thinning area. The ISA coating processed 1071 holes and resulted in continued processability. 【Processing Conditions】 ■ Work material: S45C ■ Vc = 100 m/min ■ f = 0.18 mm/rev ■ Hole depth: 40 mm (blind hole) ■ Wet (water-soluble coolant) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
