"Shaparl HI M-soft" is a high-performance machinable ceramic with excellent thermal conductivity. It has a very high thermal conductivity among machinable ceramics and also boasts high strength. Its thermal conductivity is approximately 90W due to the inclusion of aluminum nitride, and it has excellent machinability as a composite material with BN. While it is easy to machine, its high strength places this product in the relatively difficult-to-machine category among machinable ceramics. Since it is only available through machining from plate material, there are shapes that cannot be processed.
