DLC coating and film formation method

I will explain the "ion source deposition," "PCVD," and "FAD" that we are conducting!

DLC film formation utilizes technologies such as PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition). Ion source deposition is a type of PVD where a filament is heated to ionize hydrocarbon gas using thermal electrons, which then collide with the substrate under a potential difference to create a coating. PCVD (Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) involves ionizing hydrocarbon gas in a plasma region and colliding it with the substrate under a potential difference to form a coating. FAD (Filtered Arc Deposition) uses a magnetic field filter to draw only ionized carbon into the substrate for film formation. [Film formation methods we employ] ■ Ion source deposition ■ PCVD (Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) ■ FAD (Filtered Arc Deposition) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Pursuing the sharpness of the blade edge: DLC-EX thin film specification 'DLC Prism'

It does not compromise the sharpness of the blade edge【Small diameter tool for aluminum processing】【Ultra-thin cutter】【Aluminum foil cutting blade】

DLC Prism is a thin film version of the "a-C:H" DLC standard film <DLC-EX> with a film thickness of less than 0.5 microns. —————————————————————— 【Features】 ■ The low-temperature film formation results in minimal distortion and deformation of the substrate due to heat, and it is well-regarded for its smooth and hard film quality. ■ Ideal for DLC coating of small-diameter tools and small machine parts, where film thickness is a critical factor for aluminum cutting. ■ The thin film coating does not compromise the sharpness of the cutting edge, reduces tool slippage, and prevents a decrease in cutting performance. 【Examples of Applications】 ■ Small-diameter tools for aluminum processing ■ Small-diameter cutters ■ Aluminum foil cutting blades, etc. *For detailed specifications, please refer to the catalog or the product information on the official website.

Low-temperature DLC film deposition device (multilayer a-C:H, hydrogen-containing Cr system)

Multi-layer film formation enables the improvement of load-bearing capacity for low-temperature DLC (Diamond-like carbon) thin film hard coatings!

High-density and stable high-quality film formation is possible! By performing DLC film formation that is highly hard (wear-resistant), has a low friction coefficient (wear-resistant), is corrosion-resistant, adhesion-resistant, and smooth, we contribute to the longevity of mold parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, resin molding molds, sliding parts, and tools. This is not only optimal for reducing customer costs but also for reducing maintenance work hours such as cleaning tasks and improving operations. It is also possible to achieve "strong adhesion, smoothness, and hard low-temperature DLC film formation" for three-dimensional ultra-precise complex-shaped molds and machine parts. In addition to improving hardness and wear resistance, we also accept "peeling treatment and re-coating," contributing to the reduction of product lifecycle costs and material waste, thus reducing environmental impact. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ DLC stands for Diamond-Like Carbon, which refers to a hard thin film coating with good sliding properties that has intermediate characteristics between diamond and graphite. By adjusting the ratio of SP3 (diamond bonds) to SP2 (graphite bonds) and the ratio of H (hydrogen) contained within, as well as by applying multilayer coatings, it is possible to create thin films with various physical properties and characteristics (industrial value).

Introduction to DLC Dry Coating

Eco-friendly coating that forms high-quality DLC films!

Fine Coating Co., Ltd. conducts 'DLC coating' that enables the formation of high-quality DLC films through unique methods different from other companies, based on technology contracted in Nagasaki Prefecture. Since the main components of DLC films are carbon and hydrogen, which are found in nature, they do not adversely affect the human body, and because the coating does not use liquids like plating, no waste liquids are discharged. Additionally, there are various achievements in DLC coating on materials such as plastic and combinations of metal and plastic. 【Features】 ■ Low-temperature (below 150°C) plasma treatment technology ■ Film thickness control technology (nano-order) ■ Large chamber for mass processing (mass production capability) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Coating 'JC Coat PH' that prevents wear and debris adhesion on cutting tools and similar items.

Would you like to solve your issues with "adhesion" and "wear" in the manufacturing process using JC Coat TM?

The original surface treatment (coating) "JC Coat" was born from the surface treatment technology cultivated in electronic component manufacturing. Based on DLC coating*, it is a contract coating that imparts various characteristics through our unique technology, and it is used in printing masks, food manufacturing equipment, and industrial machinery. *DLC coating... stands for diamond-like carbon. JC Coat PH has low adhesion to soft metals and a low wear coefficient, making it a specification with the highest hardness in the series and a wide range of applications. It can accommodate various metals and ceramics, and when there are tools or process line equipment parts that frequently come into contact with soft metals, it strongly supports the reduction of adhesion and the resolution of cleaning issues. 【Features】 ■ No need for redesign considering the coating due to its thin film ■ Strong adhesion to the substrate makes it difficult to peel off, eliminating concerns about foreign matter contamination ■ Has a hardness approximately 4-5 times that of stainless steel ■ Complies with domestic regulations for food contact materials 【Examples of Use】 ■ Food slicing blades: Improved wear resistance ■ Blades for electronic components: Prevention of adhesion to soft metals For more details, please feel free to contact us.
