[VA/VE Case] Process Design for Stress Reduction

Effects of suppressing deformation and anxiety! Introducing examples of production achieved without significant process changes.

We would like to introduce a case study on the process design for stress reduction that we conducted. When machining a deep V-groove shape into round bars, deformation due to stress occurred after rough machining using wire cutting, making the finishing process impossible. We left extra material at the tip of the V and connected it with a bridge, allowing us to perform the finishing process while suppressing deformation due to stress. Finally, we cut off the bridge section to complete the V shape. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenge When machining a deep V-groove shape into round bars, deformation due to stress occurred after rough machining using wire cutting, making the finishing process impossible. ■Results - Left extra material at the tip of the V and processed while connected with a bridge. - Finished machining with a small-diameter end mill after the rough machining process using wire cutting. - Cut off unnecessary parts to complete the work. *For more details, please visit our website or feel free to contact us.

[Cutting Processing Case in Saitama] Pneumatic Equipment <Ryoshima Milling>

Utilizing NC lathes and machining centers, we can accommodate not only prototypes but also production runs of around a thousand units!

We would like to introduce a processing case of "pneumatic equipment" that we conducted. For complex internal diameter machining of angular parts, we performed processing using a lathe, double-sided milling machine, and machining center. By using a double-sided milling machine instead of the usual machining, we shortened the processing time to accommodate mass production. Additionally, we are capable of drilling holes smaller than Φ1 and performing turning operations up to Φ300. [Processing Example] Acrylic Transparent Plate, Pipe

The hemispherical dome is manufactured using a vacuum forming machine from sheets! Here we introduce our processing examples.

We would like to introduce a processing case related to physical and chemical instruments that we conducted. The hemispherical dome was produced from a mold and shaped, with holes drilled on the top surface matching the inner diameter of the pipe. A pipe shaped like bamboo shoots was lathe-processed and adhered to the hemispherical dome. A ring, processed into an SR shape to match the dome, was glued to the adhesive part. A ring was added to maintain the strength of the bamboo shoot section. By processing the ring into an SR shape, we ensure good adhesion. Additionally, by producing the hemispherical dome from a mold, customization is possible. [Case Overview] ■ Machines: Machining center, NC lathe, general-purpose lathe, vacuum forming machine ■ Processing - The hemispherical dome was produced from a sheet using a vacuum forming machine. - The ring was processed on a machining center, and the adhesive surface of the hemispherical dome was shaped into an SR shape on an NC lathe. - The acrylic pipe was lathe-processed into a bamboo shoot shape for its outer diameter. - All parts were finished by gluing. *The materials for this processing case can be viewed via "PDF Download."
