The HM-238L (HM238L) is a tie-pin type microphone manufactured by Icom, compatible with sub-channel PTT functions. It is a microphone for radios. It has three PTT switches, supporting the sub-channel PTT function of the transceiver. *The sub-channel PTT function allows you to assign the main PTT (transmit) switch to the main channel (group) and assign the second and third PTT switches to the second and third channels (groups), enabling instant switching and transmission/reception across up to three channels (groups). It has an IP54 rating for dust and everyday water resistance (excluding the earphone jack). The connector for connecting to the radio is a 2-pin slim L-type connector. The tie-pin microphone part features a Φ2.5mm 3-pole earphone jack.
