[Construction Case] Toy Retail Store / Electronics Retail Store: Earthquake Recovery / Floor Settlement Correction Work

Due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the floor inside the store has significantly sunk! There have been cases where gaps have formed between the floor and the walls, as well as between the walls and the ceiling.

We would like to introduce a case of "earthquake recovery construction" and "floor subsidence correction work" carried out at a toy retail store and an electronics retail store in Fukushima Prefecture. Due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the floor inside the toy retail store sank significantly. As a result of the floor subsidence, gaps were observed between the floor and walls, as well as between the walls and ceiling. Therefore, an up-con method that can be corrected during the night while the store is closed was adopted, and our company carried out the correction work. Additionally, since there were voids under the floor, we also implemented void filling work by injecting polyurethane resin into the gaps. 【Case Overview】 ■ Construction Area: Approximately 2,300m2 ■ Maximum Subsidence: 144mm ■ Area: Fukushima Prefecture ■ Construction Period: Continuous 11 nights (2012) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
