We introduce the development case of the microturbine range extender "MiTRE," which dramatically extends the range of electric vehicles, developed by Delta Motorsport (now COSWORTH). It is a super compact interface that converts CAN/LIN and CAN-FD to USB.

CANary and CANary FD are pocket-sized CAN interfaces for ATI's VISION calibration and data collection system. Both bridge full-bandwidth CAN data between ATI's data collection hardware, ECUs, or other CAN devices compatible with VISION using multiple channels. CANary communicates with the PC using full-speed USB (12 Mbps) and features two high-speed CAN channels and two LIN channels. All channels are electrically isolated from the USB connection and have built-in bus termination that can be set or released by VISION. CANary-FD is designed to handle the increased data available on CAN FD networks while maintaining the compact size of the traditional CANary product. CANary FD communicates with the PC using high-speed USB (480 Mbps) and has four CAN FD channels. The channels feature independent galvanic isolation and physical switches for bus termination.
