Since we apply a rubber coating, we can achieve a clean finish without fraying, even with materials that are prone to unraveling like cloth. 【Processing Features】 ■ Clean cut edges without fraying ■ No molds required, accommodating various types ■ High-precision processing *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case study where we produced 20 pieces of insulation and vibration-damping sheets for water level gauges using the heat-resistant "TOMBO No.6750-S (Vermosal Sheet-S)." "TOMBO No.6750-S" is a non-asbestos heat-resistant sheet made primarily from inorganic minerals and formed through a papermaking process. Compared to conventional asbestos sheets, it has a thermal conductivity that is approximately 30% lower, demonstrating excellent heat retention and insulation effects. The size is 34mm × 340mm (equivalent to 9B size). Using our plotter processing machine, we cut the sheets directly from CAD data to precise dimensions without the need for a die. 【Case Overview】 ■ Material: TOMBO No.6750-S 1.5t ■ Size: 34mm × 340mm (equivalent to 9B size) ■ Quantity: 20 pieces *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where a gas seal material with an outer diameter of φ2270mm was produced from laminated boards made by bonding board-shaped insulation materials "TOMBO No.5625" and "TOMBO No.5615." The Fineflex BIO board is a high-temperature insulation material formed into a board shape by adding inorganic and organic binders to biodegradable fibers. It is not subject to RCF regulations and is designed with consideration for the environment and safety. Due to the size exceeding the standard dimensions of the material, it was precisely cut into a four-part shape using our water jet cutting machine. By using CAD data for cutting, the split surfaces fit perfectly together, allowing for installation without gaps. [Case Overview] ■ Material: Bonded BIO board (50t) ■ Size: Outer diameter φ2270mm, four-part processed product *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

"Heat dissipation from the plant's steam and hot water piping is putting pressure on energy costs." "Condensation is occurring in the chilled water piping of the air conditioning system, causing problems with mold and rust." "The traditional work of wrapping blanket material around pipes is time-consuming and leads to inconsistencies in construction quality." In response to the challenge of achieving both "standardization and efficiency in installation" and "high insulation performance" in pipe insulation, Nichias Corporation has long provided the perfect answer: the "MG Mighty Cover." This article thoroughly explains why the MG Mighty Cover has gained overwhelming trust as the "de facto standard" for pipe insulation tubes in various sites, from the core of its structure and performance to the correct selection method. *For detailed content of the column, please refer to the related link. ■Overview of Processing Example Product Name: Felt Gasket Dimensions: t9 × Outer Diameter φ160 × Inner Diameter φ54 (P110, 4 holes) This processing example involves the machining of a circular gasket made from felt material. In addition to the ring shape with outer and inner diameters, it features a structure with multiple mounting holes arranged in the circumferential direction, intended for applications such as cushioning, dust prevention, and sound absorption within equipment. Specifications require shape accuracy and reproducibility of hole positions. The client’s industry is related to industrial machinery. The characteristic of this product is its use as a gasket that takes advantage of the unique flexibility and porous structure of felt material. It is adopted to ensure compatibility with the counterpart components while protecting internal parts. The processing method employed is water jet cutting. Since felt material tends to fray and exhibit dimensional variations with blade processing, non-contact processing is used to cut the shape, allowing for stable machining of the outer diameter, inner diameter, and multi-hole shapes according to the drawings. This contributes to preventing positional misalignment during assembly and improving reproducibility.

We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured an octagonal plate measuring 100mm on each side from a 5mm thick felt sheet based on the customer's CAD data. The processing involved creating a single hole with a diameter of 68mm in the center. Using our plotter processing machine, we cut directly from the data with precision. Since no die was required, we were able to respond quickly to requests for just one piece, resulting in a clean finish without any burrs. 【Features of Plotter Processing】 ■ Cost reduction without the need for a die ■ Support for small lot production starting from one piece ■ Clean finish without burrs ■ Easy repeat orders with data storage *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We introduce a case study of a custom cushioning inner tray (90t) made of PE Light A-8 (gray) that protects precision devices and measuring instruments from shocks during transportation. Traditionally, there was a limit to the thickness of polyethylene foam raw material forming, usually around 30 to 50mm. However, we adopted a lamination bonding technique to ensure thickness. By managing high-precision pressing with heat or special adhesives, we formed a uniform 90t block that does not peel or warp over time. This was then precisely cut to a depth of 90mm with a beautiful vertical cross-section, maintaining no distortion, using a water jet cutting machine that operates at high water pressure without crushing. Prototyping and small lot production from a single piece can also be accommodated at low cost and with short lead times. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
